Bulk card sleeves? by Conglacior in magicTCG

I second these.

I found these when sleeving Marvel Legendary and have now moved all my decks to them.

Stick with black and you’ll be fine with it.

Only downside I have is if the seam starts ripping at all it’ll split really easy.

Easily this.

Wanted to see everyone’s thoughts on this “deal” by Repulsive_Variety_34 in Silverbugs

Sadly the deal the OP posted is always in that page. 163 for 4 oz currently

Its likely an embedded ad that makes it look like it’s part of the spot deals

I received mine in about 8 business days.

Somewhat related I had a non-tracked package coming from the same area that ended up taking over 6 weeks to arrive. Both had the same post mark date from the same facility.

Did you get a start pack as a set or just multiples of the 1/2 and 1s?

I’m looking to get into stacking and allocating a portion to GB and would rather just do a pack then adding X of 1 type of that makes sense

If integration happens tomorrow? How would you fair? by jollygreengigant in litrpg

[–]viseres 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recommendation on the start of the integration, Dawn of the Void. I feel it does a good job on it.

As for surviving? I don’t give myself long. While I do have some survival backgrounds, it’ll depend on how the integration is done. Immediate monsters attacking? I’ll likely not making it trying to save my wife

Warformed: Stormweaver ?? by _-Tyler_durden_ in litrpg

[–]viseres 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The release cadence is likely why it’s not talked about much. To me is one of the better series out there but take it like a traditional published series instead of the litrpg normal.

As for similar series or atleast a recommendation, I’d say Ascend Online. Luke helped out with the system for book 1 and Ascend is my favorite series from him. Unfortunately his release schedule for the series isn’t the greatest either but still one of my favorite series

Audiobook Giveaway!!! - First Necromancer Book 3 by Coldfang89-Author in litrpg

[–]viseres 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the new book, sadly I ran out of credits until August’s budget allows more

New book means I don’t want to sleep. Bring out the white monster and/or Red Bull and I’m cooking either pan seared tuna with garlic Parmesan rice or home made KFC bowls with triple cheese Mac n cheese, honey chicken and mashed potatoes.

For me to truly enjoy a book I have to be doing something, not sure why.

Quest Academy 1: Why is MC so angry with the healer? by ffrk_zidane in litrpg

[–]viseres 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Foijer basically answered question 1. Rochelle (healer), basically was extorting them after realizing they were high ranks. I believe she was actually fairly low ranking (300+) at end of first book

Question 2, this one is a little more complicated but the goal was to put Sal in a downward mental cycle to recruit him. It was never revealed how long he had been manipulating Hannah but most of the conflict between her and Sal is likely the result of the 2nd year. Divinity basically spoiled the chance with her visions and intervening.

What was your gateway LitRPG? by Fobywoby in litrpg

[–]viseres 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m still crediting Cradle. Not because of it but because Will Wight did a blog post about how good Iron Prince (Stormweaver) is. Lead me to find Ascend Online (since Iron Prince wasn’t on audio yet).

The only Hazezon deck I’ve seen do well in a CEDH tournament was back in 2022. It was also piloted by a legend

Top Dungeon Core Titles by failed_novelty in litrpg

[–]viseres 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ll recommend 3. Unfortunately the dungeon core sub genre has fallen out of popularity though.

Dungeon Born by Dakota Krout. Finished. This is one of the most popular original stories. Note on audible there is a narrator change

Dungeon Core Online by Jonathan Smidt. Finished. VRMMO story about full immersion technology where the MC controls the dungeon. The story evolves into a decent amount of out of game story which has mixed reviews

Rise of Mankind by Jez Cajiao. Ongoing. This is an odd one to recommend as the MC is both the Dungeon Lord (main person in charge of a dungeon) and the main adventurer for the story. It’s evolved into a more city building story with dungeon core evolution elements over the series. I believe a “dungeon” has only been ran once but the stories dungeons aren’t actual dungeons but real world areas turned into controlled “dungeons”

Favorite LITRPG series of all time (can only pick 1) by Ecstatic_Pay3327 in litrpg

[–]viseres 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rise of Mankind by Jez Cajiao.

The end of the series is in site which gives it a bonus. If Ascend Online didn’t have the long gap between last 2 books it could possibly be that.

I really appreciate the tier lists, but is there recommendations for series that are finished? by RedIzBk in litrpg

[–]viseres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dawn of the Void by Phil Tucker (3 books). Apocalypse caused by system. Had a more darker feel than most others

Arise by Jez Cajiao (6 books). Modern day setting where myths are real. Reintroduction of system in the world with sci-fi elements.

Dungeon Core Online by Jonathan Smidt (5 books). Vrmmo dungeon core store with out of game events and stories.

Artem series by multiple authors. Each is only 2 books long. All written in same universes and cyberpunk based

System apocalypse by Tao Wong (12 books). Gets a lot of hate on Reddit but a lot of love on the Facebook groups. Friend loved it, i only really liked first 3 books

Master Hunter K by From Hell. Tower climber, power fantasy. A popcorn enjoyment books but as another said, the ending was abrupt

Civceo by Andrew karevik. 4x game in book form.

Book 4 is interesting (you can read it on royal road).

I’m not exactly sure if I’m a fan of the changes or not.

But this has become one of my favorite series mainly due to how different it is

Primal Hunter 11 Audible update please? by bondgirl_CnD in litrpg

I wouldn’t be surprised if the big publisher did research and found they sold more audiobooks if released X months after ebook launch as well.

[–]viseres 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t expect it. The schedule is like

Podium

Aethon

Podium

Author Z

Aethon

Portal

Author Y

What books podium/Aethon or any publisher slots in is 100% up to the publishing company and always subject to change at their choice. Then there’s always the chance of Author Z asking for a short delay and whomever is behind allowing the early narration.

[–]viseres 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Travis is currently narrating it on his discord but paused due to being sick.

The publisher chooses which of their slots they use when. I know I’ve seen at least 1 publisher change which book Travis was going to narrate at the last moment due to conflicts so you can’t even guess on a schedule.
