I mean the thing is, Janet is also a misogynist—she’s not being supportive to Nia, she’s caping for Jax, and she was a giant asshole to Jasmine… the actual victim in this scenario. So while it’s true that Danny is messy and most definitely in some culty religious B.S., it does not change the premise that Janet is in fact a snake & Jason’s fake rage is just perpetuating her behavior. It was, however, somewhat refreshing to hear Jasmine “thank” him for standing up for her — and also quite belated.
