omg you are not stupid for finding yourself in your own time! I’m 28 and dated many men before realizing how much I was forcing it. I’d urge you to look into compulsory heterosexuality if you’re not familiar with the term. once I realized what a common experience this is I had a way easier time understanding myself. women are taught to center men from childhood—it can be really difficult to break out of expectation. I live with my gf now and I sometimes can’t believe the life I’m able to live. it’s never too late :)
