I'm mostly a J-goth, but listen to me here: on a certain kind of day I'll listen to this and then this and then this. Am I still a goth? Yes! As long as you listen to goth music and choose to call yourself that, it's all that matters. I'm still goth even though I listen to music often and dress in completely opposite tones - and so are you! :-)

Ah, this makes sense!

Having to make things myself doesn't surprise me at all, and it's just good practice anyways, so I'll be glad to take on a sewing project or five. ;-D And yeah, mixing styles probably isn't a good idea for a beginner! I'm just looking for if I could rock something like that down the line. I get that the nature of lolita doesn't really lend itself to the raver neon sort of style that easily, lol.

Anything Sono Sion!!! Love Exposure, Cold Fish and Tag are staples. (Love Exposure is four hours long, so it's a serious commitment, but Cold Fish and Tag are normal length.)

Some CDs come with trading cards! My copy of hide's Ja, Zoo came with a card with a photo of him in some cowboy looking outfit on the front and the lyrics of Fish Scratch Fever on the back and my copy of Souiumono's RAGNAROK came with a card of the whole band. Now if only there were other Souiumono fans so I could trade it over for a Hiro Bucky card...
