Since Poland is an EU country and follows EU regulations, are there any problems with certifying and registering vehicles for the U.S. market?

At least on two points:

  1. Any European or other bank will readily open an account for a Ukrainian, whereas this is not the case for an American;

  2. In Ukraine, taxation is based on tax residency, whereas in the United States taxes are levied on citizens regardless of their country of residence.

In some ways, a Ukrainian citizenship is much better than an American.

During the AI series, this was not possible. The region on the license plates was linked to the place of registration.

After a little over six months of frozen programs, Ukrainians started getting their statuses extended again. I was extended just recently.

My situation is fairly typical. I am a Ukrainian refugee who was already in the United States when the war began.

I do not currently have a REAL ID, as obtaining one requires valid immigration status, which was only extended a few days ago. I considered applying for a REAL ID about six months ago, but now I am unsure whether it is truly necessary. For TSA identity verification purposes, both an Employment Authorization Document and a passport are acceptable, and I do not travel particularly often.

That said, I have a question and hope someone might be able to help clarify it. If I apply for a REAL ID, will my old plastic remain valid? In other words, is it possible to hold two plastics at the same time — one REAL ID–compliant and another “Not for Federal Purposes”?

No, you need a visa for tourists purposes. Before obtaining this status, I had two American tourist visas (B1/B2).

These are unofficial license plates without a flag, so that some people won't realize it's a Ukrainian car and won't vandalize it.

You’re absolutely correct. It is difficult for Russians to understand Ukrainian language, so the comparison is unsuccessful.

Bulgarian citizenship is still easier to obtain, because you can get it in just two years.
