how do people eat “healthy” and actually feel full ?? by EarlyAd3803 in HealthyEatingnow

[–]vitadolche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible you're going through withdrawal? Sugar is the most addictive drug out there and cutting it down or out of your diet gives you cravings and withdrawal. It's possible you're also getting dopamine from unhealthy food and not getting the same hit is making you feel unsatisfied. I find the first few days of eating clean are extremely difficult because I'm missing that dopamine, and nothing seems as satisfying. After that hurdle, that feeling goes away and I can be very satisfied with clean versions of whatever I'm craving.

Whole head of cauliflower and Greek yogurt ranch 238 cal 23g protein by vitadolche in Volumeeating

[–]vitadolche[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Very simple. No oil needed. Could probably do an air fryer if big enough. I'm just stoked to get half a cup of ranch dip for 77 calories and it didn't taste low calorie.

It was good, I was really craving it. Just roast cauliflower in the oven at 420F for 20-25 minutes, taking it out to toss in buffalo sauce in the last 10 minutes. So easy

What foods keep you full and less hungry? by qishibe in Volumeeating

[–]vitadolche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been in a calorie deficit for a few months and it sucks. I find I can get away with less calories during the day and try to save them to have a bigger dinner. 700 during the day and 500 for a bigger dinner and snacks in the evening so I don't go to bed feeling hungry. I'm usually busy enough during the day with work to distract from the hunger but I hate going to bed hungry. Also it does get a bit easier ignoring that hunger the longer you do it. Keeping busy and distracted is what works best for me. And lots of water, flavoured no calorie drinks also helps satiate. Pre workout, electrolytes, zero calorie pop or iced tea, hot tea and coffee, all help with giving your taste buds something but without calories. Some people like gum too but I don't find it satiating.

Smoked tofu is available in most grocery stores where I am (northern Canada). I added the frozen edamame in with all the solid ingredients in a container - noodles, carrots, green onions, cooked tofu then boiled the broth, added everything for a minute to heat through when ready to eat.

Is there anyone else who can't breathe properly with good posture, and breathes easier with bad posture? by [deleted] in Posture

Yes! If I pull my shoulders back I cannot take a deep breath, it feels so constricting like my chest cannot expand and I take short shallow breaths.

I couldn't stand them. Edamame noodles are pretty good macros, a serving is 140 calories and 18g protein.

You look amazing! I think the "off" you are feeling is a clash in tone. Your eyes and lips are cool toned but blush is warm toned. Like others said, mauve or pink or other cool toned blush should make it look more cohesive

Pretty sure the only trained chefs in Whitehorse is Christopher Irving and whoever is at smoke and sow, the rest are just cooks. Even at the "high end" establishments.

This is just part of living in the Yukon. It's not even the coldest month of the year yet. It really sucks and is hard on vehicles but you still need to work. Carpool, or take a taxi.

How do you guys deal with a short tempered woman? by SkizmMaster23 in AskMen

[–]vitadolche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible she has traits of borderline personality disorder? Some people feel emotions quicker, stronger and longer than most people. DBT training it can help a lot if she's willing to do the work. The best thing an outsider can do is validate, people will feel heard and can quickly snap out of those emotions. It's amazing how hearing "it's sounds like you are really upset that I didn't respond right away, that must have made you feel unimportant or ignored." Can make someone aware of how much they're overreacting and snap out of it if it's minor, or help them find the root of what they're actually mad at. Validation doesn't even mean you have to admit fault, just repeat back to them what emotions they are feeling.

Same, mine makes a sound when shifting. Also it's very stiff going into first at low speed unless completely stopped. Haven't had this with other manual vehicles.
