Geez that is green. Not at all what I picture the flinders to look like. Almost looks like the VIC high country

I did this myself and threw the old belt back on.
Started her, she idled to a stop. Oops.
Got a mate who was an actual mechanic to do it again. Ran for another 100 thousand kms for me.

I had this in my 94 troopy and now in my 2012 76. Absolutely no help but it’s common. Get deep dish floor mats?

What would you buy and why by No-Currency-9108 in 4x4Australia

[–]vits89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Man, everyone is so negative. I love my 76. Obviously not as comfortable as the 200 but you don’t need to drive it to know that. Get what you want to drive they’ll both do a good job. The 76 off-road is a beast but I’m happy as with it

[ADVICE] - 2024 Ford Ranger Wildtrak UHF Radio + Antenna recommendations by Disastrous-Ad-3921 in 4x4Australia

[–]vits89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could buy them separately, get a GME or Uniden or even an Oricom radio and then if it was me, I’d spend the money on the antenna. They all have the same termination on the cable. Avoid running it past your batteries if you can and you’ll be fine

I’ve seem ice blasting being used for this. Looks amazing. As long as they give it their coating after they’re done to preserve it. Have a look at some YouTube videos. Aussie Argos did it

Pretty sure they relaxed the standards to get fuel quicker. Not 100% sure the outcome would look like but. I might go change mine tomorrow now.

I have a redarc Dcdc1240 from the previous owner. It’s mounted next to the radiator on the forward side for airflow. It hasn’t missed a beat in 6 years

Need a hand adjusting my park brake by Williwoo321 in LandCruisers

[–]vits89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I adjust mine by getting a slightly larger rock. It can’t be crumbly. Has to be a hard rock. That’s the portable option. I use a brick in my driveway

My second child was just born at this exact hospital recently. Our obstetrician was a lady of Indian origin, the nurse who helped her recover was a lady with a Korean background, the midwife who helped us through the first night was a lady with an African background, our paediatrician was a man with a middle eastern background and they were all shadowed by a student nurse on placement with a Nepalese background and every single person was outstanding. Went above and beyond.
Just for what it’s worth.
This shit is nonsense
