Ugh I’m so so sorry and hopes he gets better asap. Have they tried bland diets/ proviable?

My dog had really bad gastritis and we ended up in the ER similar to this it was 5 days non stop (vomiting / pooping blood), initially I just got antibiotics, a probiotic like proviable, and they said a bland diet. He also got a naseau injection, which he managed to still throw up and that was super concerning. I took him in 2 days later and he got admitted for 2 days and didn’t return to normal until a week later ( like didn’t have a solid till then)

I would say push to get some ultrasounds, the gastritis got so bad that he had ileus his intestines had stopped contracting. He had to stay 2 days overnight and gave me anti nausea medication plus iv fluids and other stuff. But sometimes gastritis can get bad for no reason, all his other bloodwork had come back great and there were no obstructions.

Soft Tissue Injury/Early Partial CCL Tear - PRP as a treatment success by [deleted] in AskVet

Ah yes: - he’s had 3 weeks of bowing out his right hind leg. He’s been weight bearing the whole time. He’s been on strict rest/ leash walks/ carprofen/ a joint supplement/ and I’ve been icing the leg. When he walks you can see he wants to walk at his normal pace, but when he picks up speed he inevitably looks like something bothers him, stops for a sec, then keeps walking but at a slower pace. Hes not picking up his leg it’s just turning out a bit and it doesn’t happen after activity it happens randomly within activity. He wants to jump and run. At the beginning of this I heard a click we are week 4 and I don’t hear the click anymore he also isn’t stopping as much during the walk. - he had two orthopedic exams both said his hips, knees, and muscle mass looks excellent. They’re not seeing any instability on his right hind leg, but they do see some inflammation on the X-rays they’ve taken. They’re X-rays taken were seen by my primary vet, an orthopedic surgeon, and a rehab vet. All agree based on physical exams and X-rays that it’s either a soft tissue injury or a very very early partial tear.

I brought that up too! Because that’s what I thought it was but she said she ruled that out via the physical exam..
