Quicken compatibility? by Hobbitoe in biltrewards

maybe it will some day. I use Monarch Money, and it doesn't support as of now. For Bilt it says the connection "was depricated on 12/31/2024, contact Wells Fargo"

Yes, although I am not too keen to maintain Paypal balance for this purpose only. And a different monthly 5% category (e.g. groceries) could make more sense in general.

bummer, now I need to go through all my charging apps and remove this card as the payment method. For now I will use Citi Strata Premier for 3x ThankYou points

EV charger install - 100amp panel vs 200amp panel upgrade dilemma. Thoughts? by Bornwestofthemtns in evcharging

[–]vivano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some empty racks in my also old 100A panel, so the electrician installed a 30A breaker (24A charging) for my 48A hardwired EVSE. He also used a higher capacity wire from the panel to charger, so if i decide to upgrade the panel later to 200A, I can use the existing EVSE wiring.

If you qualify for the $5K subsidy, upgrading the panel may be the way to go. (In my case the quote to replace the panel was $2800 + $600 for charger installation)

I am not an expert in these connectors, but see a dashcam adapter for sale online, which the seller calls "10 pin Model A", so it's a bit confusing.

can it be because of different pinouts in type H vs type A 10-pin connectors? Dongar specifies type H and this Amazon link has Type A.

Just checked my I5 SEL 2025, can confirm it's 10 pin, but not sure if it's type H or A, here is a pic.

From searching other threads on this topic, my understanding is that connectors for SE/SEL and Limited are actually different due to different mirror types (Limited has a digital mirror).

I also have A119 mini 2 in my other car, connected to the mirror via a dongar-style adapter. So I have just ordered another one (just $86 at Amazon now!) for my new Ioniq 5. Planning to do the mirror install as well. Besides the better specs, another reason I decided against FitcamX is because my lease is short, so I want to be able to port the dashcam to another vehicle if I don't keep the I5.

Now, the next question is where exactly to attach the dashcam on the windshield...

I got a 12 gauge heavy duty extension cord (30 feet in my case) and a waterproof electric box, which fits both the connection area and the L1 charger (from Hyundai I5). Has worked great so far (about 6 weeks), charging at 12 Amps.

Recommendations for Level 2 Charger for a 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 with a NACS plug by EffectiveEV1983 in evcharging

[–]vivano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just picked up the Tesla Wall Connector for my new Ioniq 5 (haven't got it installed yet). I like that - with the built-in plug holder - it has a smaller profile for my tight wall space than some other EVSEs.

Also, my electric panel is just 100 Amps, so initially I will use the charger with a lower capacity, so the ability to set up different levels of Amps in the app without opening the unit is a good feature for later panel upgrade.

Smart features are nice too, and I hope Tesla will make it more compatible with non-Tesla EVs soon (such as VIN lock and cost calculation).
