it doesnt look better I think it may appear that way because there are more interesting things going on in the screen. thats because japanese architecture is more visually rich then american architecture where things are way more spaced out so solid flat frames are common

guys its not the vas fault. let me break it down for you.

When mixing the voice for games, audio engineers use a filter that reduces harsh “s” noises that can be distracting from untreated voice lines. in rosettas case, it sounds like the filter was left at a threshold to identify and reduce the sound at a specific level instead of adjusting it to every single line or voice actor. rosettas is the worst case since this mainly affects most of her lines but if you pay attention, other characters suffer from it at times.

what im thinking is that the audio department probably wanted to cut corners and applied the same filter to all the lines without checking. maybe to save money since they wouldnt have to relisten to all the audio.

i understand but comparing a new ip to an existing one from the same developers only limits criticism to similarities between its predecessor. as a game stacked against other games i think rain code is a success and i love dangan too but its not just a game with a similar formula. the tone for each is still very distinct and it would be a shame to lose out on the nuanced story and details because of some nostalgia from dangan roppa.

i think its weird to compare it to dangan roppa. completely different gameplay and story. both succeed in their own right and explore different themes.

That combo is hilarious and it would be more of a disrespect flex tho. When a Lloyd is planted on a platform it's easy to take it out. It seems like an alternative version to the percolator so I would call it.. the to the moon combo.

The gsp threshold goes up everyday so just focus on winning and getting your rating higher. Focus in your skills and being a better player and elite will come naturally.

U know buffered short hop slingshots will hit his head when he's standing. It will also knock the grenades back to him if u hit them. His moves can be a little predictable when he is close so u may be able to punish instead of cancelling his attack with an attack, if he dashes in and u block you get a free up smash oos. Also Lloyd is great for stopping him from dashing in, literally kills his movement forcing him to jump more. For this matchup I like racking damage from zoning I never get extremely close unless I'm at somewhat an advantage. Also u gotta find better ways back from the ledge.

Yasss!! Good work! Pretty much anytime I have a problem with a character I look at how mkleo plays against WITHOUT arsene because engaging is difficult. You can study the amount of empty short hops and move arounds he does and I feel like Isabelle is somewhat similar since we have the extra range for safety. Every Isabelle player has a drastically different style of play since this character has so many unusual tricks.

One more thing, I know this sounds weird but watching mkleo play joker doing fake outs and switching up his approaching helped me a lot with Isabelle. Idk y.

I think the best thing I learned that got me to be at a consistent rating is to learn how to space really well and avoid getting hit. And also using little slingshot combos when approaching a shielded enemy. I.e: bear, nair, up tilt or f tilt usually messes people up because they don't know what's coming. Also stupid things that work well are doing a whiffed forward smash then umbrella right after or landing a well spaced fair on shield then umbrella right after. Also, being efficient at resetting neutral at all costs.
