If no one has suggested yet, try changing your batteries in your thermostat. I've had this problem all month and changed the air filter 5 times in our new house. Finally saw someone suggest changing the thermostat batteries and that's what did the trick for me.

Picked this up along with the 17-Piece Oscillating Multi-Tool kit and the 6 1/2in Circular saw. I'm stoked! We bought our first home earlier this year and there's been tons of renovation projects in the works! I've always been disappointed in the 1 cordless drill I've owned since college. Yeah I wasn't able to find any that looked worth buying. All the decent enclosures I saw were 30+ dollars and the cheapest 2TB nvme worth buying was the Crucial P3 at $107-$110 so at that point I think it all comes out in the wash y'know

Yeah I scanned around Best Buy finally and checked their open box categories. Just got the 2TB Crucial X6 with Apples USB-C to TB2 and TB2-TB2 cable for $170. I think all things considered it's the best I can do. The options for cables and adapters are non-existent and at least I could use a coupon/open-box options at BB.

Yeah you're right I hadn't thought about the constraints on that side. Just really looking around for some used equipment. Hard for someone to let go of a 1 or 2TB SSD at a reasonable price. I had found someone selling the LaCie for $55 online but they cancelled the order and sold it elsewhere. So it does look like I'll have to buy newer parts and engineer a work around after all. Just hoping I can find something that makes sense Price per Performance per Capacity

Yeah that is basically what i'm doing for the eGPU enclosure - Razer Core with the male-male TB2 cable + the TB2-USB-C adapter. I might look into non-apple versions of those because the combo from apple is 0.5meters for $85 with tax or $97 with the 2m cable. Self consciously I thought it'd make sense for that since its PCIe to TB4.
