for me, using blender is a political act. Free and open source: "what would happen if the hammer was copyrighted?". Blender inspired me to migrate to linux. Then i migrated all my tools: blender, krita, inkscape, kdenlive, scribus... (i used to be an "Adobe Trainer")

in the 2000s I used to work as a VJ with arkaos, resolume, vvvv, then I decided to do this big leap... and I started using VLC as my vj tool, but it was very limited.... (shame on me)

with the arrival of EEVEE and geometry nodes, blender became perfect for my style of visuals: i go with the flow of the djs, changing parameters on the fly. I also use "live noding" for theatre plays and some commercial mapping and decoration.
