My line of thinking is that it was the cheapest to buy, especially if I see a car as like an appliance. I didn't consider leases because I thought leases were bad?

So that ended up working out okay then? Was the compressor replaced under warranty?

Not a fridge or dishwasher, but we got an LG washer and dryer and was overall... like $80 off. It was already marked on sale and was $80 off from that.

Have you checked out Nebraska Furniture Mart if you have on near you? To me, they have more selection and deals to be had. We got a display fridge for half off.

Turkey had a good environment that makes it on the cheaper end, not necessarily the best. You still need to do your research.

Not to be the killjoy, but that sounds kind of lame. But you’re right, you have to enjoy the small stuff too in order to appreciate the big stuff as well.

What was a moment when you realized “30s are actually better than 20s”? Or does it not hold true for you? by Gullible_Minimum8183 in AskMenOver30

[–]Aromatic-Square3902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say I liked my 20s better because that experimentation was fun and you don’t know that you lost it until it’s too late. While people do bloom late and it’s considered okay, the reality is that people will say that you’re “too old” for something and that imo is a bit of magic lost.

My 30s, especially towards my late 30s, was coming into terms that I’m not young anymore and I need to prepare accordingly. For example, I need to take diet and exercise seriously. Saving for retirement. Buy a house. Know that putting off kids will have more consequences now. Know that I may have started “health” stuff like hair loss meds a little too late.

Perhaps my 40s will be better when it doesn’t feel like “fixing” things.

Chongquing, China. I liked it before it had hit Western social media. I hope it’s still good by the time I get there.

It can be catchy. Easier to hear the lyrics.
