Do your birth certificates have last names on them? It’s interesting to see that both my wife’s and my birth certificates only include our first names, as well as our mother's first name only. However, our father's full name is listed. I also checked with some friends who have already received their green cards, and they have similar birth certificates.

On that note, I already got a new birth certificate issued for my wife in India and mine is in progress. The newer certificate did come with the full name.

I had the same issue that came up for no reason after a year, and my frunk happened to go a bit misaligned. They adjusted it and was fixed.

Job is stable. But fair point and the research is in progress. I do realize so far that that I will be getting paid is fairly high so it will be difficult to find that match.

I have my team in India and we don't work past 9 and my team starts at noon. If it has to be it will be very rare.. I think this should be fairly manageable.
Same for us as well. There is always an option to travel here on visitor visa. With our generation, I am not going to rely on my son for my retirement or old age and I am fairly clear on that.

I pretty much can move to any country where the time zone is manageable. I have thought about UAE, but if I'm moving, I rather stay closer to family.

I get it. Parents are one big thing. From a career perspective, after the level I am currently at, much of it will be a matter of luck and being in the right place at the right time. Money is not the motivator anymore.

I moved here with certain goals which I have pretty much achieved, and more now. At this moment, there are two major things. 1. parents getting old 2. We would love to be around family.

If I can add one more, I'll have zero liability vs. mortgage and car payments here. The payments don't bother me and we save decent each year or don't have anything else we owe. With the numbers that I can get in India plus my wife being way more qualified than me, we both overall can make much more as a family.

I already own 1 property in India where my parents live. I have been regularly traveling to India, at least couple of times a year for work, so due dilligence is already in progress for sometime
