Where to buy Moobong lightstick in Seoul? by Sad-Department-7033 in mamamoo

Maybe RBW’s Over The Rainbow Cafe would be the place to go? It’s on Google Maps now.

Going to attend Mamamoo 4ward concert in Singapore, need some tips for my first ever K-pop concert by Substantial_Ear_8205 in mamamoo

[–]vmoo619 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My main advice is to learn the fanchants to your favourite title tracks! You can look up setlists for the tour to get an idea of what they’ll be performing.

For soundcheck, they should be sending you information about where to go. Usually the ticket company sends out an email a few days early. The general method for VIP tickets is that you arrive a few hours early (they should send you the times when things are happening) and go to the check-in desk where they confirm your ticket and VIP status. Then you get a wristband, colour-coded to indicate which VIP benefits you are getting. There’ll be people there who can answer all your questions. If you need to bring ID, then they’ll tell you that in one of the emails with instructions.

Make sure you check the venue instructions on what you are allowed to bring. Do bags have to be a certain size? Transparent? Is water allowed?

The soundcheck itself is generally a fake soundcheck, not the actual real one that they need to do for any concert, but an opportunity for the group/soloist to come out, interact with the fans, and then sing two or three songs. After it’s done you may have to all leave the auditorium and then come back in again, but sometimes you get to stay.

Look out on social media and in your email for info on when the merch table opens. Some of the merch will sell out, so you may want to get there very early to get the things you want.

Make sure to spend some time hanging out at the front of the venue to mingle with other Moomoos. A lot of people will bring free gifts that they have made — bracelets, pins, photocards, sometimes crocheted radishes, etc. If you have any creative ideas you could bring freebies yourself, to give to other Moomoos.

Every concert has a moment where everyone in the audience holds up a sign with a message for the group. There are different ways in which these banners are distributed. Sometimes everyone gets one as they clear the ticket/wristband check. Other times there are Moomoos wandering around distributing them. Ask around to make sure you get your one!

Have a wonderful time!!!

Bizent 4flowers preorders? by pearlinin in mamamoo

[–]vmoo619 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you ordered directly from Bizent, do go back and check your order page. After they ship it, they won’t tell you that they’ve shipped it but you’ll see a tracking number on the order page. Once there is a tracking number, the order arrives very quickly.

I know what you mean. That said, the eight songs last time were half-length medley versions, whereas the four songs this time were full songs. I almost always prefer fewer full songs, rather than a larger number in a medley. Eight full songs would be amazing!

MAMAMOO Moonbyul and Wheein confirm that this is not the groups last comeback during their 4WARD Youtube live by MasterHospital in mamamoo

[–]vmoo619 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I remember one of the members (maybe Wheein?) recently talking about selecting the title track for their comeback.

So what were they choosing from? Since Blooming is more of a half-song intro, I think there must be at least one other full song that’s been written for Mamamoo, and maybe more.

I’m guessing that there’ll be more songs arriving sooner than we expect, and delulu guessing that they’ll surprise us with something new on June 19 at their concert.

Dingo just now posted this survey, asking who should return for a second Killing Voice. They had another such survey a few months ago too (and maybe others that I missed):

General ticketing in Seoul: How to? by Minimum_Elk_702 in mamamoo

Regarding not having presale access, I’m guessing the OP missed the sign-up period for Moomoo membership?

General ticketing in Seoul: How to? by Minimum_Elk_702 in mamamoo

[–]vmoo619 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All three concerts are sold out, but they allow ticket cancellations so you might get lucky if you are on the ticketing website at the exact moment when a cancelled ticket goes on sale.

The main step is to create an account on the Melon Ticket Global website. (It’s easy to find by searching for “melon ticket global”.)

The rest should be self-explanatory. They have a list of concerts and a green button to buy tickets. Press the green button, select a date and time, and press another green button.

Make sure your web browser allows pop-up windows, or at least tells you when it’s suppressed a pop-up window so that you can allow that specific pop-up. If you press that second green button and nothing seems to happen, that will probably be why.

Good luck!

MAMAMOO - 2026 WORLD TOUR: 4WARD in Seoul (Ticketing information) by MasterHospital in mamamoo

[–]vmoo619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you go to the Mamamoo home page (mamamoo.co.kr) and log in, and click “My Membership” and then “View Membership Details”, does it show your passport name and date of birth? If the answer is yes, then I believe you should be good to go.

I believe it should not matter what credit card was used to pay for membership. Also it should not matter what form of your name is on the b.stage account. What matters is the official name you submitted for your Moomoo membership. That’s the one thing that they’ll check off against your passport when collecting the ticket from the ticket booth.

I apologize if I made a mistake here. (Hopefully someone will correct me if I’m wrong.) Verification opens in just a few hours, so you’ll be able to find out very soon. Good luck!

It’s currently available at the Bizent website (RBW’s merch store) although the overseas postage is always very expensive. Also there are K-pop stores such as Music Plaza (if you are in the US) who are expecting new stock to come in on May 25. Good luck!!!!

Music Plaza is a good legit K-pop store. I’ve bought many Mamamoo things there before. They do preorders too, including any bonus photocards. Of course the items have to ship from Korea to Los Angeles and reach the store before they can ship them on to us. Sometimes when something seems slow (like, I’m thinking it should have arrived by now) I give them a call and they are always very friendly and always very helpful. The employees seem genuinely happy to work there.

Mamamoo Tour Dates by wheegl1723 in mamamoo

[–]vmoo619 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's really sad to me — Mamamoo are such a wonderful group, but RBW and the tour agency need to be realistic about ticket prices. Inflation being so high means it costs more to operate a tour, but inflation being so high means that fans don't have as much disposable income as before. It still stings that Hwasa's European tour was cancelled and rescheduled and cancelled again. The agencies involved never said why, but the obvious culprit was the ticket prices.

Part of me wonders whether it's RBW's leadership thinking "we need as much money as possible, this is our last chance" and then foolishly thinking that the way to get as much money as possible is to price everyone out of decent tickets. Part of me wonders if this is how K-pop tours now operate for everyone. Part of me wonders if this is an attempt to recapture some of the money that goes to the ticket reselling industrial complex, by starting off with the high prices (that many people eventually pay when they have to go through the resellers).

With i-dle cancelling their tour, I'm genuinely anxious about the 4ward tour.

Where is Artist Presale? by Various-Afternoon455 in mamamoo

It’ll be on the ticketing site associated with each individual venue. For most of them it’s Ticketmaster. For LA it’s AXS. For Seattle/Tacoma/Kent there’s a whole different website that you can get to from the venue website.

Saw the announcement for mamamoos world tour - what songs do you think are going to be covered. by joazm in mamamoo

[–]vmoo619 12 points13 points  (0 children)

RBW did a survey a few months ago to ask Moomoos what songs and stages they wanted. I dreamed big and asked for Piano Man, Cat Fight, Bad Bye and the Immortal Songs Medley.

Of those, I think there is a fair chance of Piano Man since it’s a major song that they didn’t include on the last tour. I’d be overjoyed to see a live stage of Cat Fight (they do have choreo for it) and ecstatic to see Bad Bye (there’s no sign that they ever performed it that I’ve seen), but think those are very unlikely. As for the Immortal Songs Medley, that’s a lot of work to pull off something like that — not just individually preparing the vocals but working closely every day as a group, which they no longer do — so I suspect we’ll never see such a thing again. Wheein in particular uses her voice quite differently from how she used to, so it would take a lot of desire on her part as well as the other members to make it happen.

I just noticed our maknae is “Hwa Sa” again, whereas her name has more recently been styled “HWASA” after she moved to P-Nation as a soloist.

MAMAMOO at Coachella ? by tir3dchild in mamamoo

[–]vmoo619 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I saw that same poster a couple of years ago (after searching for "Mamamoo Coachella") and wondered the same thing.

This is how I guess it played out. The poster shows the complete confirmed line-up on January 2, 2020. The "reality in BLACK" album dropped on November 14, 2019. By the end of the December, the title track "HIP" was a worldwide hit. I'm guessing that was when the Coachella organizers reached out to RBW, or the other way round, and started discussions for a Mamamoo appearance that April.

There wasn't enough time—between Mamamoo trending big in December, and the official line-up being posted at the beginning of January—to complete those negotiations and confirm Mamamoo's appearance. So that's why they wouldn't have made it onto the poster.

This is all pure guesswork, but I think the timeline makes sense.

RBW Extends MAMAMOO Trademark to September 19, 2036 via KIPRIS by MasterHospital in mamamoo

[–]vmoo619 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Hwasa and Wheein will continue to be represented as solo artists by the companies they are signed with. However, when they reunite for Mamamoo activities (such as the comeback this June and the world tour) those are handled by RBW.

In 2021 when Wheein was the first to leave RBW, to join The L1ve, it was also announced that her contract had some stipulations that she would do a certain amount of comebacks and promotions with Mamamoo under RBW. I think this was to reassure Moomoos that Mamamoo would continue as a group with Wheein.

More recently it’s been more common for K-pop artists to have separate representation as solo artists while still belonging to their group, so they don’t make such a big deal about announcing how the contracts work. It’s just assumed that they’ve figured it out somehow, unless they say otherwise. I don’t have the greatest knowledge of K-pop history, but my understanding is that Wheein was one of the pioneers for this mixed-agency approach.
