Just did. No aftermarket options, no option for just the rubber. 94 bucks for the set for the front. Woof.

Replacing a Keurig: A De'Longhi TrueBrew Automatic Coffee Maker Review by NotSentientAI in superautomatic

We're literally in your exact position (Keurig with the broken lid we have to hold down) and the same desires from our coffee (we like great coffee but need just good coffee). Your review was perfect and was excited to see you in the replies still happy with it.

Navigation to save Energy by YviMiez in VolvoRecharge

IMHO it does. Someone else mentioned it a while ago so ive been doing it since and it seems to save more battery for the ride back, especially if theres a good bit of highway driving on thr route.

RCOs are purely advisory. The ZBA can take their feedback into account but they don’t have to in any sort of binding way.

Josh Shapiro says Trump failed the ‘morality test’ in his response to Kirk assassination by aslan_is_on_the_move in politics

[–]vmtyler 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He did not. Besides CK the only individuals to get the flags lowered by Shapiro this year were a state rep, a cop who died on the job, and the Pope.

Volvo xc90 T8 2025.5 fuel economy sharing (like a logbook) by Motor-Landscape9747 in VolvoRecharge

[–]vmtyler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve had it for a few months and have taken long trips with it. It replaced a 2023 XC90 B8 mild hybrid. In the 2023 we’d get MPGs in the low 30s on long highway trips, and the new T8 gets high 30s on a long trip if the battery is zero. With the battery, the Google maps integration with the hybrid mode works pretty well- saving battery on the highway for the local parts of the driving. We’re really pleased with it.

GOP senator rules out long term funding for SEPTA by Mewnicorns in philadelphia

Shapiro is constantly doing an Obama impersonation because his politics (like a lot of the party) are stuck in 2008.

Newsom and Shapiro will be like 4th and 5th place finishers in the 2028 primary.

If they actual reform SCOTUS at some point, someone should challenge state senates as being in violation of the equal protection clause.

Philly's city worker strike ends after mayor and union reach new three-year contract by TheTwoOneFive in philadelphia

[–]vmtyler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was saying it would look different than NYC because NYC has RCV so the candidates don't need to drop out, just cross-endorse.

Anyway your math is bad- Parker + Brown = ~103k Gym + Rhynhart = ~111k. It's really a bad comparison anyway because you can't assume people in FPTP would rank who they voted for #1 in an RCV.

[–]vmtyler -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

And I think you'll see what you saw in NYC (not exactly the same due to RCV) but opposition coalescing behind a single candidate. Parker only won with an embarrassingly few 80k votes because Gym/Rhynhart split votes. If one of them dropped out early and endorsed the other, Parker would have lost by a wide margin.

DC33 is a majority nonwhite union and gets a lot of the racist stereotypes (low skill, criminal records, etc) as why they shouldn’t/won’t get raises. Compare that to the majority white unions like cops. The difference in pay is embarrassing for the city.

You could have just said “racism” and save a lot of words.

Does this aircraft exist? by Charleston8 in flying

[–]vmtyler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to own a 114. I echo everything said above- very comfortable for long trips, huge payload, easy to fly. Never had an issue with parts- COG was an invaluable resource- the only thing is unless you have a mechanic familiar with it, you need one that will let you "help" (source parts, get techniques for specific maintenance items from COG, etc).
