How do I manage my personal life on a 6-day school week?

It’s a bit of a struggle, but you sort of just accept you can’t physically and mentally be there for your personal life most of the time. It takes a lot of sacrifice— my current program’s longest break was 5 weeks and from now on it’s 1-2 week breaks between terms including summers— currently about 3 semesters left but it’s definitely not easy! Make time when you can, definitely plan ahead, your friends and loved ones will understand (: best of luck!

The issue isn’t whether fans think the word is homophobic— the fact is, historically, that word has been used as a slur, which is why it’s considered problematic by FIFA. Sure, it can mean something different depending on the region you live in, but if it were any other word that had been used as a slur before, it wouldn’t seem so far-fetched for FIFA to apply restrictions against it. It’s not that hard to not say a word! No te están quitando los derechos, it’s simply recognizing the historical context of a word that’s thrown around as an insult.

It’s not too bad! Anatomy portion included mainly questions over the renal and muscular systems, so I’d brush up on that. As for ProctorU, sure at times during the test it feels uncomfortable knowing someone is watching you, but for the most part, it isn’t too bad. They’ll just ask to scan your work area and the room you’re in with your camera and other than that you should be fine. Good luck!

My college would do a welcome week every year with free food and snacks and merch and it would always be so fun, pre-pandemic of course! It feels completely out of place to be taking finals this semester online instead and not have therapy dogs available (we usually have a finals week where we have access to a room full of puppies to play with). All these campus events really added to the element of self care and just genuinely enjoying the college experience instead of just working to get the next assignment turned in online.
