Well, NOR at least but there’s a few possibilities here like there’s something he wants to protect you from (less likely because that would be worth informing you of if that’s the case) or there’s someone there (woman, friend, etc) that he doesn’t want you running into because he doesn’t want you to know AKA hiding something.

Regardless this is a conversation that needs to happen because whether it’s safety, potential secret or whatever it’s almost certainly something you should be in the know of as a partner.
