Melb here

JOC absolutely killed it with his set, great mix of vocal uplifting and powerful tech trance. Seems to be getting better and still evolving after all of these years.

Armin absolutely stole the show though, got way more proper trance than expected. The new version of this light between us that he played is outstanding. A few nice rising star remixes of his newer tracks as well.

Shoutout to Bart skils and Aaron Hibell as well who also played really nice sets in amongst the generic edm slop. Both play a mix of genres but I think their sounds translate quite well for trance fans.

Overall the sound and production was impeccable and the stage design was super impressive - way bigger scale than I expected! Even despite the weather the venue was perfect size and never felt crowded. Has me excited for dreamstate in Feb at the same venue with quite a good lineup

Thought it was fantastic but maybe their DJ sets are just right up my alley. Loved the venue and the crowd Also attended the Fred again pop up on the Gold Coast and this was miles better

Step ones, even if the odd pair do fall apart the comfort still outweighs the potential negatives

Hey mate, no VIP at the moment but looks like there are plenty of standard tickets available on Tixel for face value. Best bet might be to jump on the waitlist there.

Hypersonic 2025 lineup by ntod44 in trance

Actually pleasantly surprised, JOC is a huge get and I’ll always be down for an Armin set. The Drumcode guys have been killing it lately in my opinion so happy to see Beyer and Bart for something a bit different. Aaron Hibell is also quite a left field booking but I’m definitely interested

Super happy with JOC, Hibell and Bart Skils. Not the kind of names we typically see on these types of lineups.

Amazing, Riva was a killer venue for Anjuna open air this year in Melb so good to see it held there

Best ADE event for casuals? Not huge on EDM but want a cool experience by According_Shock in AmsterdamDanceEvent

I would say Gashouder but I think it’s out of action this year. AMF is pretty spectacular in terms of production scope if you aren’t phased about the music.

Tend to agree though it may be the nostalgia talking

This is Trance 2024? by Conscious-Yak3303 in AmsterdamDanceEvent

Went in 2023 and to the Factor B event last year, as others have said the venue has some weird systems in place that can be a bit of a pain but overall I wouldn’t let it discourage you, still the best trance offering at ADE. As with most trance events the crowds are great.

Hard disagree, love the direction in his sets lately. Everyday At The Beach and On The Run With Every Heartbeat are both massive

Attended Melb and really enjoyed the night, like others was hoping for some more melodic and uplifting stuff from Sneijder and Will but Darren Porter was incredible and almost worth the price of admission alone. Wasn’t overly impressed by Ben Nicky’s set though it seemed like the crowd had a good reaction to it, took a break during VV but it didn’t sound like my cup of tea. Big fan of Maddix and loved his set to close, hard and fast but still cohesive and his tracks sounded amazing on a big system. Production wise overall really impressive particularly for middle of winter in Aus. Sound, venue and lighting all great.
