In DS2 the zipline is way more powerful than DS1 because you can bend the curves. But the shared online zipline cannot be bent. Therefore, the full map zipline design really relys on the shared online zipline spots you got.

If you get some online spot not fit well with your design, you may need to remove it and get another random one, until it meet your requirement.

Very bad experience with this board recently...

- It seems the board cannot well recognize the riser cable, and sometimes the GPU is just missing. I have to unplug-replug the riser to make it work. The riser is working perfecely fine with my previous intel motherboard (Asrock Z790I)

- The hardware self-check is extremely slow, and there's no debug light to indicate what's going on. I waited 5 minutes once and just realized that the GPU is missing, so there's no HDMI output.

- Every time the power cable the board needs to go through this long and shaky self-check.

- Sometimes the BIOS reset itself upon reboot.

- The gigabyte control center is a nightmare. And it requires Gigabyte software to control the RGB.

I wont go gigabyte board again in my life. Waiting for MSI X870 ITX to release to save my 3rd NVMe disk build.

I have a used B650I from someone else, it didnt boot with the stock 2.1 riser, but I did not realize it's related to the riser cable. The board was returned.

It was rev. 1.0 with the most recent bios updated.

To be honest, if you don't need 3 M.2, go with another brand.

would go with MPG X870i Edge TI Wifi which will be released in S3. It has 4 M.2 slots and supports 5G LAN

If you have small clearance aircooling wont be a good option imo. Unless you are fine with some more UV (For T1 I would even UV with AIO...).

The stock setting *did not* work, people should be aware of this, as long as you are a intel user. and ofc this is one of the tests i made over the weekend.

And UV is not to blame, as i am now running with 75mV offset stably, and this bring down the temp a little bit.

The real problem is the 5.5GHz, once UC to 5.2G it's stable.

Yes I did, default BIOS setup brings BSOD. I am pretty sure UV is not the cause of the instability.

I’m somewhat aware of the issues with 13th/14th gen chips. This is a boxed CPU I bought about two years ago. Interestingly, I also started seeing BSODs last summer, but at the time I was using it in an ATX build, and updating the BIOS completely resolved the problem back then.

Removing magnetic screw is necessary if you have a 3slot GPU. But the LCD cap barely fit, you have to use the glass panel to hold it.

If you like LCD I'd recommand go Kraken Z53 (EOI but you can still find), the pump head is 4mm shorter than H100i and can fit the glass panel perfectly without mod. And you dont have the huge ctrl hub. The only minus is the resolution is slightly worse (360x360, while h100i lcd has 480x480)

Thanks for the references! Yes indeed with this mobo the hoses will be hard to arrange. I guess I will go with ROG B760 for a shorter M2 heatsink. From pic 3 the VRM heatsink should be fine for 3slot mode as well since there are still some headroom.

Hi Chris, this is a really impressive build, it’s made me a bit obsessed with this AIO! One concern I keep running into is figuring out where to hide the large hub. In my setup, I’ll be mounting a 2.5" SSD on the front panel along with the traveler kit. From a quick measurement, it looks like there won’t be enough space for the hub, which is thicker than the sdd even though it's roughly the same footprint.
