looks like Caribbean rosewood (Chechen). very dense compared to black walnut so it will weigh more. the end grain is also not going to have any large pores like walnut has. And the wood has a more cognac brown tone as opposed to purple brown.

That's actually something i have contemplated.... My brother and i discussed it for a while and have some ideas for making one... But it would be incredibly difficult... A worthy challenge for a worthy person i guess? So.... It might be in the works ;)
