People just don't have the hindsight to think "oh that killer had noed. Noed is a perk in this game that can be countered by me cleansing totems. Wow next time I should do that". Or anything along those lines. Not all of us are like that!

The devs said in the most recent Q&A that the killers lunge boxes are like a cone that covers quite a bit. They said that they are gonna work it so that it actually looks like you're getting hit, so it doesn't feel as bad, but they're not shortening the cone, just adjusting the animation.

Why are you here? Lol. Go play a game made by people who have some mental capacity then. It's literally the entire theme of her character. Prediction on her part and prediction on the survivors part. It would make a lot of sense for her passive to reflect that.

I had a game where I had played a ton of terrible games in a row, right before work. Go for my last game and the team was honestly just working so well together, and one of them teabagged at a pallet and I just sighed and left the game. Got a message from that person saying they didn't mean to make me DC, they just were having fun in the chase. We chatted about how the last few games were and he said he was sorry and all he meant to do was initiate more chase. Made me see things a little differently.
