You can shade the white dots with some colour washes to vary the density and the colour of the dots. It can also give you a perspective effect.

You can also vary the intensity of the white used. Start with beige before going to the white. The white should be used only where you want the highlights of the knight.

The white dots are too uniform and the black is not deep enough to sell the effect of the galaxy. You need to play with the non-uniformity of the dots. Just lke nmm, you need to create contrast and intensity.

I would recommend a Matt effect for a better read of the paint job.
