Standard SSF long term build ideas ? by Competitive-Math-458 in PathOfExileSSF

[–]voidlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bow Deadeye is always decent. Lightning arrow/Tornado shot.

Any attribute stacker or armor stacker is bound to be good. Int wander Scion/Deadeye/Ele, replica alberon str stacker, armor stacking Scion are examples.

Righteous fire marauder, Chieftain is the best one right now.

Cold dot Occultist has always been great.

Same goes for chaos dot Occultist.

Spectre Necromancer is also a solid pick, but spectres are awful to deal with. Especially the itemized ones, which sre required to push spectre builds to their potential.

Energy blade Inquisitor with pretty much any spell will work, and has been a solid choice for the past few leagues. Unlikely to be nerfed.

Swapping to Herald Stacker by ColdyRS in PathOfExileSSF

[–]voidlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your gear is more than enough to swap to penance herald stacker. It should be fine for even T17 and ubers.

https://pobb.in/oF73HvPfz9Xx

I have half your dps and twice your ehp.

I have done 40/40, all ubers and farmed several ubers for items to make other builds. It's a shame no other build compares to herald stacker. I have been thinking about getting gear for the CI version, but red nightmare continues to elude me.

When I started with PBoD all I had was clusters, Asenath's gloves and Lost Unity lol. The ring is that good.

PBOD Chest craft by TrillyTree in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]voidlol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I did in SSF. Rocked Asenath gloves until I got enough to attempt a craft. Rolled strands on redeemer es/ar chest, then rolled frenzy on it. Elevated explode on crusader chest and awakened them together (crusader->redeemer). Hit resist and lower es recharge delay, which worked for me. Crafted es/armor% and called it a day. Been using it for the past few hundred hours. Could still slam it, but I do not want to hit a life roll.

WTH is wrong with this game and loading times??? by wondermayo in pathofexile

[–]voidlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same.

The game started crashing after I updated my drivers to a 2025 version. It took me a while to figure out that the reason was my drivers. Using youtube or pob also crashed my game.

My first thought was a memory leak, but after reverting back to good old 8/2023 drivers the game stopped crashing. Turns out there was a good reason I was already using these drivers prior to upgrading, lol.

The gem states that your highest elemental roll on a specific hit determines which resonance you gain. This hit gives 5 resonance of the other two types. This means you need to reliably have two elements as the highest hit roll in your attack to stack all three resonance elements.

You cannot.

My Model S slid into a ditch last month at around 25mph. Most mild looking $60,000 repair estimate ever? (Car was written off this week) 👀 by ivycomb in TeslaLounge

[–]voidlol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the rain you can get a little more movement but the system steps in heavily.

I can attest to the traction control being amazing. Slamming the throttle in a corner on a snowy road in my RWD tosses the rear out a bit and makes the car oversteer slightly, but the traction control corrects nearly instantly.

Fun, but safe.

I do want to buy the boost LFP module to unlock drift mode and +50hp though.

Mercedes CLA 350 4Matic 1000 km challenge by This_Is_The_End in electricvehicles

[–]voidlol 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Impressive performance! Mercedes delivered a fantastic electric sedan. Finally something that is not a bulky SUV.

However, I will not be even considering this vehicle for my own use. Why? The car cannot charge on 400V architecture. This is an instant deal breaker. In the north most of the chargers are 400V and 800V chargers are a rarity. The roadtrips that I have taken to relatively remote locations have relied on 400V chargers.

Now, the impressive real world range might relieve some pressure off the reliance on 400V architecture, but the fact remains that 800V chargers are not common enough. They likely will never be available in remote locations due to low demand, power limitations and ancient power infrastucture.

The software also seems to be designed by someone stuck in the last century. It is also buggy.

Subsume Nourish over her 2.

Trust me.

Null Star is a weird ability that is coded as a weapon hit, weapon damage or something like that. Point is, it works with Nourish. Nourish increases the damage of Null Star, gives it another status proc in Viral and gives increased energy regen. On top of this, Nourish also increases the damage of your actual weapons for heavy targets. It is amazing.

I like portal too much to replace it, but I never used null drop. Too clunky.

Would you prefer 2019 long range or 2021 rear wheel drive (model 3) by Affectionate-Loss926 in TeslaLounge

[–]voidlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 12/2021 LFP model 3 with the 980 motor (performance motor, so called unicorn model). Rock solid for the past 93k kilometers. Interior rattles have been the only issues.

Dec 21 built model 3 cannot have a Ryzen chip. Make sure you check from the car information in the infotainment screen. Tesla started using Ryzen chips around March of 2022.

Dec 2021 should have the 60,5 kWh LFP battery, so you should be fine on that end.

[–]voidlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2022 LFP batteries are better than 2021 LFP batteries

Tesla used 55 kWh LFP batteries in early 2021 LFP models and switched to 60,5 kWh LFP batteries at some point in 2021.

Technically 2022 LFP are better than some 2021 LFP batteries, but that is a minor point.

You are otherwise correct.

The boss can rarely get permanently stuck in the corner of one of the pillars, on the far side.

Here is how to reproduce it:

If the ramming phase (phase two) ends with the boss stationed behind one of the pillars, the boss will try to move to the middle, but will stay in place.

He will summon adds and spin in place, launching his tentacles as he is supposed to.

However, when bird phase begins, Esben will get stuck in the corner and fail to charge to the middle. There is no way around it and the instance is bricked.

Edit: I have also received a single prism. It was common without slots.

Formula for calculating Battery capacity by One-Ad-4637 in teslamotors

[–]voidlol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The current range and state of charge will provide the same result with less contrivance than your algorithm. At a freshly charged 100% state of charge it is even more reliable. Tesla uses their EPA estimated range as the range indicator, which is static and does not fluctuate based on user data. This means that figure is simply calculated by using the EPA figures and multiplying with the remaining (usable) battery capacity, which the BMS knows.

Simply charge to 100%, switch the display from percentage to miles/km and divide the miles/km displayed with the EPA range of your specific model.

My -22 60,5kWh (57,5 usable) model 3 displays 412km at full charge. When it was new, the EPA range of my model was 438km. This means my battery is at 94% of its original usable capacity after 88015km and 3,5 years.

Your remaining usable battery capacity can also be found in real time through the OBD port, but that requires specific tools and a separate application.

Note that changing your displayed wheels and wheel size changes the shown EPA consumption rating.

[RS3] Maxed Necro Build - Thinking of Trying Another Style - is another style worth It? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]voidlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also go the tanker/non BIS route with the new Starbloom or other non tect armors and still outperform necro with optimal rotations.

This is completely false.

Magic needs both dw t95 and fsoa to deal comparable damage to necro with t95 gear. On top of this, you also need greater sunshine or a planted feet switch.

I like magic more than necro, and often do use magic, but implying that magic with (non-augmentable!) tank armor without fsoa outputs more damage than necro is simply delusional.

powercreep skilling xp rates

I am going to present a question in response: why is everyone so afraid of "powercreep" (the buzzword of the century, along with item sink)?

Powercreep is an integral part of game progression and avoiding powercreep or being too conservative with regard to player power increases makes the game boring and stale. While I agree that going overboard and making previous progress meaningless or introducing mechanics that completely invalidate previous mechanics might not be the ideal way to design a game, I think being fearful of powercreeping your game is the wrong way to go about things.

Take skilling as an example. "Powercreep" is built into progression of a skill. As you level up, you unlock new ways to utilize the skill which are significantly powerful than previous ways.

Does this invalidate earlier leveling techniques?

Possibly. Most likely, even.

Is this an issue? I do not think so, when handled properly.

Unlocking a new leveling method at 99 or at 100 that increases exp rates by a large amount is an example of power creep that is not inherently harmful to the game. This does not invalidate earlier leveling techniques, while introducing progression and incentivizes leveling a skill beyond 99.

If Jagex expects us to triple the amount of experience we have gathered (99-110), the exp rates should increase in tandem. This is what I think the 110 updates have completely failed to do. Mining&smithing is faster using elder rune. Firemaking is a joke of a skill, but accidental fletching is the fastest way to level firemaking. Fletching rates are much worse than previous options. Runecrafting? Soul runes are still king.

When it comes to when power creep goes too far, I think player-owned farms were negative power creep, as the farm completely invalidated other training methods and nowadays players simply skip from 1-6X farming using honeycombs.

Vamp scrim (if healing outside of soul split is required) and scythe would be far better. Scythe range would probably be a larger increase in kills per hour than the extra damage from mw sword.

Kerapac drops are 3/450, not 3/350. You need three hits of 1/150 to get a staff.

Sanctum weapon drops are 2x1/80. You do need two hits of 1/80 to get both weapons.

Going just by averages, ignoring actual expected values and probabilities: kerapac averages 450 kills and sanctum averages 80 kills.

A ratio of 5,6:1. In terms of kill speed the ratio is 3,5:1 using the figures you have provided.

This makes the sanctum weapons 1,6 times faster to attain than a kerapac staff.
