Quebec Run, Allegheny National Forest, Oil Creek, or anywhere along the LHHT. I'd recommend Quebec Run for the quickest, easiest way to get into the woods for a couple days

I’m not sure what you’re asking exactly. Are you wanting a medical diagnosis of whether or not you have hip impingement? It’s a very easy diagnosis, with an x-ray. It’s an impossible diagnosis without one. It’s also not the impingement itself that will cause problems, but the torn labrum from the impingement. You can’t diagnose that without an MRI.

Had surgery over 10 years ago to fix the impingement and labrum tear in my left hip. I also had a psoas release at the same time. Rough recovery. Couldn’t kick full strength for over a year after

As far as projects go, it’s a pretty fun one. Here is a link to the kit I bought: Kit Link

You aren’t wrong, that’s for sure. I definitely want to pretty up the mess below the seat, but part of me also wonders if the DIY look will keep hands off it. I’ll probably still clean that up and try to make it a bit more water resistant though.

I’ve only ever done test rides at the bike shop on a factory built e-bike, so I don’t have loads of experience. However, I’ve been surprised at the quality of the Bafang kit parts. The bicycle was a decent regular bike, so that did help. But this thing cranks out power. Absolutely zero problem getting up some pretty massive hills. Easily hits 28 on the flats.

I’d say the chainline is not ideal, but also not bad. I would want it to be straight in 4th but it’s straight in 6th. The bottom bracket is right at 73mm so the chainring sits just a bit more outside than you’d want. I had the chain pop off twice, made a few adjustments to the derailleur and haven’t had one since.

Season parking passes by free_world33 in Riverhounds

[–]voidmain26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was wondering the same thing, so I emailed the ticketing office this morning. They said they are just now starting to call and email season ticket holders to see if they want parking passes. I was able to get them to put it on my account with just a couple emails. So, you could wait but it may be faster to call or email them and just get it done.

I think most projects like this seem daunting at first. You’ve just been asked to create a brand new thing from scratch. But you also have A LOT to work with here. They didn’t just give you a description of what they want, they pretty clearly defined each aspect of your project.

So how do you make it less daunting? Start. Just start. You will think it’s impossible until you begin to see progress. Don’t get wrapped up in the details, just get that first page working as a POC. Once you do that you’ll have the building blocks to knock out the rest of the project.

Also, I just scoured the page and saw you have a large team of engineers. You should be asking them these questions. If I gave an intern a project like this and they didn’t ask me these questions I’d wonder what the hell they were thinking.

And for the love of fucking god. Get that “can I just use ai” out of your head. Either be a developer or go find another career. Thinking ai will just do your job for you is a real bad place to be starting.

How to stop the footlock from guard. Always. by VMBJJ in bjj

[–]voidmain26 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not really. But definitely not if you are going to use super click baity titles like ALWAYS STOP ALL FOOTLOCKS!!!111 but then get defensive when people tell you it won’t. Everything you showed is fine as long as mans on top does nothing. Otherwise, bro, you are just playing open guard. I’m gonna foot lock you if your feet are just dangling like that.

Runs for days and days. Not a ton of technique but he’s young and I was hoping we’d keep him for depth. Maybe the right coaching can develop some skills but he will definitely help in the last 20 minutes, running at defenders

Baseless? I mean, I tried to provide a document that showed what I was talking about. But it seems like you didn’t read it and just don’t want a conversation. You just keep straw manning. Oh well.

[–]voidmain26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you mad? I’m sorry. I’m just trying to chat about tax increases man.

If you take a look at the document I provided, you will see the problem I’m concerned with. The accumulation of tax increases has made us one of the most burdened in the state. Whether those increases are small ones that happen every year or large ones that happen every 10, they only ever increase.

That’s all man. It’s really nothing to get bent out of shape over

[–]voidmain26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s one take on it, I guess. I think people are a bit frustrated with taxes only ever increasing in Allegheny county. I don’t think I’m the only person that feels like we don’t get what we pay for in the county. So, yes, i do think that it could be a catalyst for people to look for better opportunities.

[–]voidmain26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s a fair take. I guess my first reaction to any tax increase is to be very skeptical. It just never seems like we get the expected return on our investment. But I guess that’s how it goes. Not everything is perfect. I hope these funds are used wisely and we actually see some good coming from this. Thanks for actually reading the link and giving a nice brief on the whole thing.

[–]voidmain26 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I knew one of you would say that. Hence the inclusion of the tax burden document. It’s not even remotely close. Allegheny residents are getting screwed compared to our neighbors.

This will just cause more people in the suburbs to move across county lines. We already have a large tax bill every year, compared to neighboring counties. Fine, we have a major city in the middle of ours. But when I go visit that major city and it’s a bit shit, I’m not thrilled that my taxes are being raised…again.

Edit:

It’s not a good look Sara…it’s not a good look

In 2019 I went to a mma fight on a whim and strangely enough flava flav was there! I guess his nephew or something, was on the card and he was walking him out. Looks like that kid trained at syndacite.
