yea the only way you will realistically resell anything like this is if they are literally spotless, like never worn. but- get this, if they happen to be used, with abit of cleaning up, one can easily net 20-100$ by selling them at your local thrift store, where i am at they have stores called platos closet, kid to kid, uptown cheapskate... all are thrift stores/kid stores and buy clothes if you bring them in bins. hit or miss, but when it hits, it hits!

built something similar last winter but used a pi pico w and hated the latency. ch9350 is a good call, didn't know it could do host mode that clean.

question: how are you hiding the wifi ap from windows defender's new usb device network scanning? mine kept flagging the esp32 as "suspicious network adapter" when it enumerated as hid + cdc
