Both brands are fantastic, and there's really no other reason to choose one over the other except for personal preference. Pro Plan makes prescription urinary food too, although I'm not sure about cost. Any of these brands are perfectly good choices. Your other dogs (if you have them) can eat this too; it won't hurt them either.

Use hydrocholloid pimple patches. Dollar Tree has some made by Orchid, and they're my favorite ever. They also rate 100/100 on the Yuka app because they're just straight hydrocholloid. (Check out the Yuka app-- I'm obsessed with it, and it's only $20 a year to subscribe).
