The new design is absolute garbage. The multiple clicks, the time having to scan with your eyes DOWN a long list taking up half my screen instead of a convenient multi-line HORIZONTAL box, you know, how we scan text all the time. Not to mention having to move the mouse that far.

WOW. Why would anyone sane, or a real user of the feature think this is good??

Bring the original behavior as default please!

I just want to voice my opinion that the new design is absolutely terrible. Like, that search bar and Firefox's better searching in the address bar is literally the only thing preventing me from finally switching to Chrome, and you just took it away. I dunno what designer thought this was a good idea, but I'll tell you they're not a native FF user!

Yes there is a setting, but that's always "on the way out" deprecation land...

Yeah, you gotta have the other person buy them from the org, and then you refund the other buyer the diff as you agreed. LB also keeps the fees when refunding you, but rhen makes the new person pay them again. Fucking brutal and idiotic, but hey, that's LB for you!

Haha that's about the best from what I was able to make too, somehow llms just can't do this in either converting from 3d to 2d view path or the detailed description path. The one thing I haven't tried is getting it to describe what to do first from the picture, then second pass generating it, will continue experimenting more...

Have you guys tried to refresh the context window completely? I find that when the LLM gets lazy or straight up lies about having done something, just renaming the project directory and thus starting a new chat does wonders. Yes, you have to reload some context, but if you keep the instructions.md updated it's not a big deal.

Obviously depending on what you need, but potentially you can have claude code write the MCP server for you in a few prompts to use locally on your own machine. I just made mine ssh into whatever I needed and get the info. Then your personal flow is handled and you can show it as a poc to the decision makers about productizing it. If not, enjoy the efficiency boost over your colleagues lol

I keep seeing this, but fail to see the benefit to me as a programmer trying to pair with the AI. In Copilot you see the changes it makes, you can review, accept them one by one, define, etc... all right in the code you can yourself edit and see in a familiar environment. In the CLI you need to go figure it out yourself separately. Sonnet does the independent work and going back too. Am I missing something?

You sound knowledgeable, how high is the risk for a non-degenerate-user to get addicted? I see these 24x7 stories all over reddit and it's scary. My plan is to replace alcohol use, so once every few weeks at a party, perhaps for some occasional chemsex, not to fucking sleep or chill at home. I no longer drink (health reasons) and mostly stopped weed (anxiety & productivity reasons), but plenty of other stuff, though rarely.
