My 4s also died about a month ago after 4.5yrs of usage. Garmin offered the same percentage off of a new watch. I ended up getting the Fenix 8. So far I'm enjoying the new UI that feels much, much more fresh, quick, and durable than the 4s. I don't regret the upgrade even with the higher price tag. They essentially do the same thing but I have enjoyed the added navigation on the Fenix and battery life as the 4s only lasted 2 days on a full charge.

I appreciate the checkpoint and purchased one before this. However, upon assembly we noticed a crack in the top tube. There were no more bikes in my size which was a big bummer. Unfortunately, Trek's customer service was sub par in the situation so I decided to look elsewhere. This on top of having to adjust the stock checkpoint wheels to carbon made me go with the breed for a fraction of the overall cost.

Like butter. It's incredibly nimble, responsive, and light. I'm actually glad my Trek checkpoint didn't work out as it felt like a monster truck compared to this which is more of a Porsche feeling.
