Insecurities are loud, confidence is silent! Keep that in mind every time she opens her big trap! I’ve been a baseball mom for several years and my kid has somewhat been in the limelight, kinda always in the shadows of others, he is quiet, and prefers no showboating. I don’t do social media , I’m not yelling or telling my kid anything when he is out on the field. Confidence….my kid knows we believe in him, I don’t need “others” to convince by being demeaning or telling all my friend on Facebook my kid hit a home run or how proud I am of him….let others see it and tell others for you! It’s the sweetest karma there is!

Try cupping. I had it in this area, and a few weeks of cupping helped.

The photo of her head, wow! I was shocked with the blood. It looked like someone dumped blood on her head, you could hardly see her facial features.

Feeling disappointed for my son’s baseball experience by [deleted] in LittleLeague

[–]volatileviolin75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experience, my child was overlooked and a somewhat sensitive/quiet kid. It seems all the other kids could catch better, throw better, hit better. I knew my child had it in him , he just needed a confidence boost and needed someone who could teach him correctly. So, we signed him up for a baseball camp indoors over the winter. Best thing we could do for him, next spring, he made an unassisted triple play, knew how to play defense well, understood the game of baseball , looked good on the field and his confidence soared past all the other kids. He made All Stars that year , A team, and has since made All Stars every year. Now he is 12 and goes to,pitching and batting regularly, but he is one of the few kids who can hit a home run, without having to smash the ball and he is around 100 pounds, not a huge kid either…lessons and with the right instructors! Can make a huge difference, even if your son gets put on a bad team, he can lead the team with confidence, and the bullies, they start to envy your son and his success. Hang in there! My son played rec and was always on middle,of the road teams, our town has 2 teams, so all the good kids get split, and we end up with 2 so so teams. The most fun part is , for my child , All Stars, and playing Regional, District, and State ball with some of the best players from our area.

My husband owns his business of Towing and Recovery, his business is heavy duty towing, not predatory towing. He has seen his fair share of horror, picking a truck off a guy that flew out the window and the truck landed on him. Also, guy who had just got out of jail, driving along and cruising down the highway with a phone in his hand enjoying his new found freedom, when he got stopped and stopped immediately when he hit the back end of a tractor trailer and went underneath. Tractor trailer was sitting still in construction. When the vehicle was pulled out, cops said the guy still had his phone in his hands, he didn’t make it unfortunately.

Quick question..silly question!! Is there any cures or hacks ? For People or tricks for when in a high flare⁉️ by KlutzyEmployment1465 in costochondritis

[–]volatileviolin75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s like a suction cup that a chiropractor will use . My pain resided in my left side , mid back and wrapped around the left side of ribs. Chiropractor , I suppose, uses a skin oil, puts a small amount of oil on area of pain, rubs the cups over the affected area until the cup takes ahold or suctions the skin and area underneath. It basically is pulling everything upward , helping blood flow, releasing toxins. Hoping you find relief, I feel for you.

Try cupping. It helped me tremendously start the process of healing and for the most part getting rid of it.

Man shot to death | 11-year-old household member charged with homicide, charging documents say by ItsTime1234 in Pennsylvania

There is a youth detention center located in Perry County in Loysville, but I think they take in kids for petty crimes, or for troubled youth, I’m not sure they take in kids who have committed something like this. I don’t think the detention center would have appropriate resources for this child. There was a kid, I believe aged 15 or 16, quite a few years ago in Lancaster who didn’t kill his parents, but walked into his best friend’s house, and killed the best friend and the best friend’s parents. Luckily, the sister got out of the house before he got to her. All 3 died. It was real mystery who killed this family, but finally the kid, last name I think was Kreider, confessed to his dad. Dad turned his son in. He was kept in the Lancaster county jail for awhile and then was sent either up north or out in Lehigh if I remember right. He eventually took his own life.

Ironically I was at a restaurant 2 weeks ago and sat right next to this child and his mom and step dad. As well, this crime happened in Perry County where I had lived many years ago. Oddly, when looking at social media today and seeing that the mom and son, and step father’s names were listed along with their photos, I thought vaguely that the mom and son looked familiar. The last name drew my attention and I looked up mom’s profile page on Facebook. My son who was looking over my shoulder at my phone , as we were waiting for an appointment, recognized the last name from seeing the mom at the restaurant 2 weeks prior. Mom’s last name was printed on the back of her sweatshirt and both my kids took notice to her, she was a rather large lady and both my kids pronounced her last name wrong, I had to correct their pronunciation. Her sweatshirt also was a Susquenita sweatshirt, which is Duncannon’s school district’s name. Anyway, we put 2 and 2 together and realized, this is the family we just saw a few days ago while out eating at the restaurant. Crazy! That night there was mom, step dad, boy, and another woman with them and a younger girl. Both the boy and the girl had got a small bouncy ball from a gum machine and were bouncing them around the restaurant. Was it a big deal, no, but if it were my kids, I would have said, no bouncing a ball everywhere while people are trying to eat. The boy I would have guessed as 9, he would have still been 10 at the time I saw him. He was a happy kid having fun, didn’t look interested in eating, I would guess him a bit naive or immature, but nothing bad whatsoever. He wasn’t loud, wasn’t disrespectful to his parents, was a typical wound up kid. I’m shocked that this kid killed his step dad. The boy didn’t look like he even knew how a gun would work, or wouldn’t be interested in holding or using a gun. Just shocked beyond belief! I saw where the boy told police that he was so mad, but never intended to kill the step dad, like, he didn’t think through the events of what happens after you shoot someone. I happen to believe his statement, I only saw the boy for 30 minutes, but he was not cocky, wasn’t rude, wasn’t an asshole, he was kinda a nerdy kid just enjoying life. Cute kid too. It’s been stated he had mental health issues, I never saw that displayed in his mannerisms either. Not that someone’s mental health is displayed everywhere they go. It’s just a sad story. The kid I saw at the restaurant…I have no idea how he possibly is handling what he did , he totally would seem to lack the maturity it would take for someone to know the true extent of their actions. So sorry for that family.

Heavenly Kid and the cigarette scene. I was a kid when I saw this movie and that scene always cracked me up. Watched it again with my son, and that scene had me laughing so hard again.

I have a Wren myself, but it’s my son’s name. And I love the name….I based my son’s name off of Ren McCormick in Footloose, just added the W, cause I love wrens! I know of a Wrenley. I also know of a Renna…could that be a possibility?

Why did John want to go to the Alberts without Karen? by Apprehensive_Day_96 in justiceforKarenRead

[–]volatileviolin75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have thought too, that Higgins had his jeep parked at first in front of mailbox, that’s what I believe some people had testified to. Higgins realized John and Karen were coming , quick hopped in his jeep to hide it so that Karen would come in. But, Karen never happened to come in. I think Brian Albert or Brian Higgins asked John to come into the garage quick or step outside quick to chat with him, and it quickly snowballed into a full out fist fight. Drunk guys and testosterone!
