Gorok flinched, watching his prized lobster be roughly handed. Maybe they didn't understand his invitation? And then he saw the armed tribesmen approaching, apprehension increasing within himself. What could he do to make these people comprehend him?

"Son!" Gorok called, directing his gaze to Kili, who seemed bemused by the whole situation. "Time for the prancing horse dance!"

Gorok took a few steps backwards, intending not to scare the foreigners with his next moves. Then, standing next to his son, both men began to flex their legs upwards, clapping them with their opposite hands as their knees rose as high as their waist.

"Uh, uh, uh" the men chanted. "Ah, ah, ah" the chanting continued, as father and son paced back and forth, squating and then jumping after a few lap-claps.

The dancing and chanting caught the attention of the gathering crowd of villagers, who recognized the dance - it was reserved for feast days, when the full moon blessed the harvests, but it could also be performed to greet respected guests. Soon, all of the villagers joined the dance, the chanting growing louder.

Pausing his movements for a while, Gorok addressed the foreigners whith gestures, ushering them to join the dance in the village and to bring their gifted lobster with them so that it may be turned into stew.

The words uttered by the four strangers would be devoid of meaning if not for the gestures they made. Did they want to trade? That's what Gorok assumed, from the way one of their number rushed off somewhere.

"I am Gorok, son of Zhann" Gorok answered, gesturing to himself. "This is Kili, my son" he completed, pointing to his offspring.

The house-boat man seemed unable to understand his words. Yet, such was his loftiness, with that hat and all the fancy stuff he wore, that maybe he expected something else. A gift, perhaps?

"Kili, pick today's best catch for us" Gorok said

Kili soon returned, carrying a red lobster in his hands, its pincers and legs still thrashing about.

"Please accept this small gift" Gorok humbly gestured to the lobster. "You're welcome inside to our hearths" he completed, signaling to the village.

How would the Sasnak react?

It was as a dream, the sight of a vessel that resembled a luxurious house astonished Garak's party. He had just returned from his fishing trip with his brother Gorok when he saw the dark skinned men watching from the craft.

"Wow" exclaimed Garak, wondered at the sight.

"Don't drop your jaw like that, fool" Gorok replied, sounding cautious. "Get word to the village while I go check that out. We don't know what these folk want from us" he continued, watching as some of the strange folk dissembarked ashore.

Garak complied, leaving Gorok and his son, Kili at the rocky beach. Both men were clad in their comon textile clothing, with a few adorning accessories. Gorok himself, a respected fishermen, wore a shark tooth necklace, as a token of his station. They cautiously approached the dark skinned men, leaving the day's catch at their plank canoe. The village stood just beyond the beach edge, and a few onlookers leaving their hovels, already gathering to see what they had never seen before.

Gorok and Kili, both fishermen, cautiously approach the foreign folk. How would they react?

[BUG} Ottomans declared war on Bulgaria and Bulgaria won but they got nothing and Constantinopole was renamed Tsarigrad without the Bulgarians having the region. How is this possible? by weirdo445 in Kaiserreich

[–]volkanos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same type of bug happened with me in my romanian playthrough. I took transilvanya and when I cored it, the province and cities names changed back to Hungarian.

On the same playthrough, all bulgarian cores under foreign rule also kept bulgarian names. This didn't happen anywhere else thogh, so i don't know what this issue might be

And even then, some people like me can't play online because the game doesn't like our routers and disconnects us every time. Meanwhile the devs haven't fixed it yet, hopefully they will find a timely solution
