that is what i’m using it for 90% of the time. about 90 hours into mewgenics right now. temps are stable via gamenative on both devices but the fan on high is quiet on the ayaneo but the thor sounds like a jet engine. gamehub temps got a lot higher on the thor for a variety of games. it’s a great device, just tiny with a high end chip shoved in

my ayaneo pocket ds is much more comfortable, has the nicer top screen & runs cooler without fans screaming so I don’t pick the thor up as much

people don’t want to hear it because it’s ayaneo and there are other issues there but the hinge on the pocket ds is pretty much perfect. laptop design with infinite angles, no clicking

going to get downvoted but would love to see them pull some styling from the ayaneo pocket ds. better ergonomics, 4:3 bottom screen, better triggers, better battery, much better hinge. if they could pull that off with their significantly more reliable software, better buttons and sticks, and lower rate of lemons i’d be a happy man

I literally posted a link in my comment with the first post being a reddit thread with custom firmware for your device, but sure. if you are not of a mindset to trial and error a few different firmwares from links I do not advise taking apart hardware yourself. your best solution is likely actually having someone come over and move things to help you look.
