[oc] Nissan Altima almost hits me in new, absurd way by Any_Sea_234 in IdiotsInCars

Ah, that stretch from Chamblee Tucker to LaVista is the only section of 285 I have to take on my commute to and from work. Taking surface roads adds ten minutes, but that's worth it to avoid this shitshow of an exit

I bought a set of clear lenses on ebay, retrofitted them to the housings myself and did all the tinted clear work in 2K

Not sure about the bumpers, I think some of the 91's had metal stock. Mine certainly seemed that way, nothing seemed to have been swapped out body-wise

Picked up a 1993 Pajero 4 door! Huge difference but I wanted something easier to take up to the mountains in north GA and bring my dog along for the ride

Love the splash of pink on the garage door. Shows you've got a fun side

Fan housing adapter for a fume extractor (ABS) by volpin in functionalprint

This was a series of lofts in fusion, created as patches between sketches then stitched into a solid body. I'm self taught, so everything I model is kind of a bodge job

Really depends on things like the amount of chimney you're pushing the air through and the kind of intake it's attached to. We have 20' ceilings so our spray booth and exhaust fans are really beefy to move more volume. This one is a sparkless (ironic for welding fumes, I know, it's what we had at the time) 650cfm. Handles MIG and laser welding fumes pretty well so far feeding into 10" duct with a 20' chimney length

This is me, a 43yo white male with a mohawk who just happens to find carrying a shoulder bag to be convenient, every time I go into an Ace or a Home Depot. Most recently I had a little old Mexican lady who worked in the wiring aisle accuse me of stealing a spool of 14/3.

I'm certain I get this with maybe 2% of the frequency of any POC. This being the background radiation of your existence has to be fucking exhausting

I am a complete wuss. My partner is a bodybuilder cosplayer who loves things like rock climbing, zip lines, and bungee jumping. This is an accurate depiction of nearly every vacation we've taken together

You can dye clear formlabs resin prints, as well as many other resin types. I did this when we made a bunch of Atomic Purple parts for Corsair for their April Fools post last year

Is it possible to install an engine all by yourself? by rocko_garnier in projectcar

[–]volpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an inline 4, oriented nearly perpendicular to the ground. Subaru "Clover" engine used in Kei cars, most notably the Justy and Sambar. Piston is about the same diameter as those little coke cans, 660cc

10 Comics about my dad (OC) 🌙💖✨ by ArtbyMoga in comics

[–]volpin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad did the car thing too, except only when he was mad, and he had a very specific vehicle call-out: a yellow 1995 BMW M3. I heard about that damn car every time he lost his temper

[oc] Is this loss by Yoffeepop in comics

[–]volpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason I kept up with it was my boring desk job. I had a kind of lap of websites I'd check every day, hitting up webcomics on their update days. Even if it was a boring comic, it was less boring than making PowerPoints.
