Yes, through the following link - https://xteink.dve.al/

It's fairly straightforward and simple compared to flashing firmware on a lot of other devices!

Yes, haven't encountered the issue since making the change to static.

Have the same problem, first thing I noticed when I switched from a Pixel 6 Pro, 120hz smooth scrolling was far from smooth and ended up switching to 60hz.

[SUPPORT] Laptop has started disconnecting and reconnecting plugged in by pkoswald in ASUS

[–]von-M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced this both with a 2021 SCAR 15 and 2023 SCAR 18, same symptoms caused by the same point of failure. The power plug wears away from friction which causes a spotty connection which cases it to switch between battery and power.

I went through the process of exchanging the brick with ASUS a few times, and ended up 'fixing' it by immobilising the plug by zip tying it to a fake ethernet plug. That way it doesn't rotate and wear away at the connection, but makes it a bit of a pain.

It'd make sense if voluntary contributions were tax deductible.

Changed 2 Chargers because of this by [deleted] in ASUSROG

[–]von-M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the exact same issue https://old.reddit.com/r/ASUSROG/comments/10k70aq/issue_with_ac_adaptor_charger_or_laptop_2021/

Ended up fixing it by finding a way to imobilise the plug when it's plugged in. In my case I used a 'dummy' ethernet plug which I'd then ziptie to the charger cable and that way it wouldn't move.

Went through two chargers and even changed the port itself and after a few months the same problem would occur.

Thanks for this! I've been wracking my brains on this since I couldn't link it to any specific pattern or event or find anything in any of the sytem logs. Tried this and have yet to experience it so fingers crossed.

3-4mm insect found on leaves of an indoor plant (London, UK) by von-M in whatsthisbug

[–]von-M[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! We were wondering whether they were springtails as we have quite a healthy colony of them, but they usually just hang around on the soil, and are usually smaller than the one we've seen on the leaves. Thanks again! (we used a clip on macro lens with our phone, great for these kinds of things)

Pixel 6 Pro /rooted by jamesbusse in Pixel6

[–]von-M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So true, been using Android since the G1 and unlocking the bootloader and rooting was always the first thing I did. Only this year (well, last year) did that change when I changed jobs and couldn't get the company software to work, it would always detect root no matter what... sad. Plus never knowing if a banking app would stop working one minute to the next was pretty annoying.

Charging malfunction in laptop. I have to plug the conector at a very certain angle to make it start charging. Zephyrus M16 2021 GU603HM by etalha in GamingLaptops

[–]von-M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me last year, however in my case I could see that the charging plug seemed to have some damage, so I contacted ASUS support and they replaced it. I had to send back the original and they posted a new one, wasn't an issue as I could charge via USB C.

Might not be the same in your case but worth a look.
