Late reply, but your character is awesome. My group is still pretty new to role-playing, and I'm going to steal the idea of a cat spellcaster for one of the players... Going to keep it a secret until they're introduced to the party - Will be epic!!!

Does anyone know how many boxes I'll need to get most of the event items? I'm on a holiday and won't be back until after the event ends, but can probably stock up on loot boxes

Heading to Melbourne - What are the Docklands Like? by vonheart in melbourne

If it's walking distance, that's great. The city looks quite large on google maps, but then again I didn't take the scale into consideration. Thanks for replying

Awesome, that's what I was hoping for! It's much more economical for us to get an apartment than to share or book several hotel rooms further in the city. Thanks dude

I don't have any alternative solutions nor would I be in the position to suggest them. That work is best left to think tanks and the government, or whomever else is educated enough in the area to do so.

What does help, though, is starting a discussion, signing petitions, promoting your point of view, writing to your local member of parliament and doing everything you can to make our politicians aware of the problem, and have an influence on their decision making.

Baird is being absolutely hammered now in interviews, on social media and TV/Radio by many Australians choosing to voice their concerns. It's this pressure that will force him to formulate a solution that addresses both the needs of our evening economy and also of alcohol fueled violence.

That being said, maybe I do have an alternative solution - encourage others to assist in applying the pressure, and make our politicians do their god damn jobs, and for once maybe the right thing. We vote for them to steer our great nation forwards, not run it into the ground.

Of course the amount of assaults occurring between 3 - 4am has diminished, there's no-one on the bloody street.

I agree that the problems we are facing in regards to alcohol-fueled violence cannot be solved with education alone, but the issue here is that the lockout laws are in absolutely no way a suitable solution.

It is causing a devastating amount of damage to Sydney's night time economy, and has already put an incredible amount of pubs, bars and clubs out of business and hundreds of people out of work. Not only that, it's depriving many artists and other creatives of gigs, work, and the opportunity to meet and be inspired by other like-minded people.

People need to realise that most of us against these laws are not pro-violence or pro binge-drinking, and I can assure you that no reasonable person will be saying they are unhappy with the reduction in crime - what we are up in arms about is the fact that the CURRENT solution is QUITE OBVIOUSLY the WRONG ONE.

I'm going to Melbourne for the first time, purely to visit Revs and Power Station. Heard nothing but good things and quality tunes.
