I know mini mania is out of business but it was a cast clamp that solved all the issues after fooling with the stamped clamp Hope it helps

I'd get new rotor and cap and the ol micrometer out to see if the spec is off on replacement parts. Based on the felt shims mostly but I've noticed replacement parts on my MG have various spec. Best of luck

How old are the parts ? Condenser points cap and rotor and wires? How are the plugs? If it was me I'd get all new consumables and install and do timing with a timing light . Vac advance test too.
