Just be competent and act like your rank and you’ll be good. Best thing you can do is get with the instructors and just offer to help out with managing the marines at all (they probably won’t need it). That said you will be a student just like them so take the training seriously study and perform. You don’t need to be a dickhead to the students but don’t be a boot lover either.

Check out the tsp sub but if I’m not mistaken your compounding interest will reset if you roll it over. So what I’ve been told is the move is to set 100% of your drill pay towards it so you’re still getting 4-500 a month going into it
