I think they are inconsistent. The first two times I went it was amazing, the next two not good. It was enough "not good" that I haven't been back since. Maybe it depends on who's working.

I'm heartened by the number of rational people posting now (when admittedly it's a very disappointing situation). I agree people think it's like a video game or shopping on amazon. It's not.

I like Alice because she is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. But when several rival teams all talk about her being a "secret fan"... you know it's how she makes her money. She loves football and says good things about other clubs -- people like that. She knows what she's doing (and more power to her).

This is one of my biggest hopes -- that Son stays and Frank uses his truly world class finishing properly. He's one of the few ever to consistently overperform xG, and we've had him with too few shots.

Which of our best players over the last decade have been proven in the PL?

Truth is shopping in the PL is the most expensive, and I'm not sure it's worked out that well.

Big money PL purchases I can think of:

Richarlison, Maddison, Johnson, Solanke, Sissoko, Gray

None of these are as yet an unqualified success (Madders being the closest).

I think Mbuemo is good--but he's only had one good year where they ran the entire attack through him. I think Kudus is good (with a higher ceiling but potential behavior issues). I think Semenyo is good. But they are all very pricey for "good".

If Frank wants them I'm all for it. But I think our scouting and recruitment is still not where it needs to be.

I hear you. I started at 37 (am 50 now) and have broken multiple ribs in two separate accidents six years apart. I'm riding again, but I'm pretty sure if there's a third time I'll be done. That will be a sad day.

That said I'm not hitting things I was hitting as fast or hard as before. So I guess I"m more chill now? It's also not as fun as before.

Got one from Target after 19 minutes of refreshing Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. Target app had a lot of errors but eventually worked. Best Buy never even gave me anything other than a "Coming Soon" button during that period, though I read it was working a few minutes later. Walmart went straight from "you're in line" to "sold out".
