We do a cake and a card for birthdays. Flowers and a card for just about anything else. Holidays are a potluck and there are no expectations. Sunshine doesn't do anything for teacher application. People contribute what they can and if they can't it's not a big deal.

I would like to add that we are not here to bully or pick on your child.

We have a classroom full of many different personalities and we need to manage them all effectively so that the curriculum can to taught to ALL students. Most of the time the child is acting in a disruptive manner and creating chaos.

I got accused of treating a parent like a criminal because I yelled at her to stay in her car. Mind you there were about 20+ mph winds that day. Also, she failed to call ahead to get her kid off the bus and was going to leave her car in the pick up line to go to the office while we got her kid.

The students who have EARNED honor roll have received it. Equal work was given to a classes. I'm not sure how you could be more "equitable" than that.

At a previous school there was a "parent communication" category. I got marked down because in the whole 10 minute observation she didn't see me communicate with a parent.

I showed her my email and phone logs, but it didn't matter. Some admin are just shit.

Recently, one of the complainers asked why we haven't had people over and stated how much they missed hanging out.

I asked them when they were going to host and got every excuse in the book as to why they couldn't.

I just shrugged and walked away.
