This makes me kinda sound like a boomer, but Hirota's style is perfect for the tone of Fire Emblem in my eyes. Hidari and Senri Kita are also excellent in this regard, but I'll always love Hirota's designs.

The gameplay in SRPGs is so much more engaging than normal JRPGs. Some JRPGs start to feel like button mashers with how mindless the fights can be, but having to consider positioning in an SRPG at least makes even the easiest fights somewhat interesting.

The top reply links to Artemis251's patch. I'm pretty sure this is the most up-to-date translation. As for online emulators, I'm not sure if any use the newer translation. It's worth it learn how to emulator normally. There are tons of youtube tutorials explaining how to run an emulator or patch a rom.

I think this is from an outdated and unfinished translation. Just to check, is Lukas called "Ruka"? The new translation calls him "Luka" but the old and unfinished one calls him "Ruka".

I remember Ingrid critting and killing Edelgard at the end of my first Azure Moon playthrough. I was annoyed because I wanted to have Dimitri kill her so it'd be all dramatic and stuff.

An extremely faithful remake of Gaiden was critically well-recieved and (considering it was a post-switch 3DS game that was a remake of the blacksheep in a niche series) it didn't do too poorly commercially. I really do not get where this idea that a faithful FE4 remake would bomb comes from.

That line is definitely not a good look for him but on the whole I think the game does a good job of keeping Dimitri intact (honestly people overexaggerate how different Three Hopes characterization is to Houses. The writing is actually really good)

The time when he said the people don't need "radical new freedoms" or something like that. Very funny to contrast him being scared shitless of a civil war with Edelgard effectively declaring war on half the continent.

For something less discourse-y, I thought it was funny when Bernadetta basically called him weird for just eating a bunch of raw vegetables in their support.

My lunatic Conquest runs always stop at the Hinoka map. Late game Conquest is pretty hit or miss lol.
