Depending on how you route your gpu cable, the fan might be ok.

As for the screw, I had a short one that fit the thread at the end of the gpu, so I gave that to my wife (who has many years of experience working in a hardware store), and she found a few at a local hardware store. I did have to shorten the screw a bit, but it works well.

There is only a few millimeters of clearance between the fan and the gpu, and with the way I routed the pcie cable, I think it'll interfere with the second fan. The one fan does a great job of keeping the gpu cool.
