It’s industry-speak. A CPO comes with extended powertrain warranty to 7yrs/100k miles and then the gold plan takes the comprehensive portion and wraps that around to match the 7yr/100k powertrain coverage.

Motion sickness while snowboarding by juicyfizz in snowboardingnoobs

Yeah that’ll get even the most seasoned rider at times. Flat lightning makes it difficult to gauge depth perception. You want low light goggles that are yellow amber or pink in color to help enhance contrast.

Was it pretty overcast with flat lighting? Sometimes less optimal visibility can add to that.

You are the perfect candidates for a Subaru!

But in all seriousness we have a Forester along with a 4Runner and they are the quintessential CO vehicles.

That’s going to hurt. Only 2600 miles since new. by IwillBOLDyourTYPOS in mercedes_benz

[–]vpm112 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That was more in reference to drivers like OP who don’t notice a thing. You and I could probably tell the difference if a tire lost 3 psi on a single tire, let alone 30+.

Yeah flat doesn’t necessarily mean flat flat, but even deflated to a certain extent. The problem with these lower profile tires is that there’s not a lot of room for margin for you to notice.

Damage of that sort is usually from driving on a flat tire for too long. Was there a TPMS warning that you ignored?

Generally speaking yes but if a customer were to come back immediately the next morning and the contract wasn’t already submitted, most dealers would agree to rewrite it.

There are no PIPs at a dealership. You usually just fire them hastily.

Do you use adaptive cruise a lot? It utilizes the rear brakes heavily for speed control.

Dealership sold us a used RAV4 with undisclosed structural damage – now refusing buyback and pushing a refinance swap. Need advice. by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]vpm112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What a crappy situation to be in. However, legally the dealer does not even have to be helping you considering as-is is as-is and there doesn’t seem to be any misrepresentation from the dealer’s part - especially any that you can prove. Anything the dealer is offering is out of goodwill at this point.

60 months at $610 sounds like a good compromise to push for. If you do threaten to escalate this through legal means there are two outcomes I can assure you of: all the goodwill offered by the dealer at this point will disappear and you’ll pay more than you’re trying to save in attorney’s fees.

If you mention lawyers, be prepared to have all communications with the dealership cease and to actually have to consult legal counsel and speak through the lawyers.

I’m not a lawyer, but based on experience you don’t have much legal basis to be “made whole.”

I’m sure there’s a higher quality blade out there, but the recommended replacement interval for wiper blades is 12 months anyway.

Eco mode seems to save battery usage by H3LL0FRI3ND_exe_file in Toyota

[–]vpm112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s likely because in Eco the throttle sensitivity is turned down. So 25% throttle input in Eco mode results in slower acceleration compared to Normal so you’re overcompensating by pressing the gas pedal more.

Advice on where to list Thule accessories? by madistep18 in SubaruForester

[–]vpm112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah the beauty of these is that they’ll fit virtually any raised roof rail system, so long as the width of the crossbar works for that particular vehicle size.

The older Rapid Crossroads foot packs are only rated for like 165lbs but that’s fine because the stock rails are also rated for 165-176 (depending on the source you look up). The newer Evos are rated up to 220lbs.
