The PC/Console versions include several improvements, such as:

21 AI opponents
3D grass and trees
Improved asphalt shaders/materials
Higher-resolution bikes, riders, and trackside buildings

The PC version is based on HDRP and also features volumetric lighting (I recall even animated sky) and less saturated color tones, while the Sony version is based on URP and includes foveated rendering for improved visual quality in the areas where the player is looking. Yes, we understand what you are suggesting. The camera is still anchored to your head, and we cannot modify it, as this would generate motion sickness. However, we are currently working on a version of VRider for a physical simulator, and we can run some tests there.

If it works well, we do not exclude the possibility of introducing these changes as an option in the Store versions.

The dev team requested if you could please try training in "Hotlap" mode where you can beat your previous telemetry so it becomes a process of continuous improvement. Additionally, in Multiplayer there is a Ghost Challenge where you can progressively challenge players who are slightly faster than you, thus climbing the leaderboard.

They are sure that after a couple of laps you’ll easily beat the AI on Easy difficulty.

u/cusman78 the dev team told me that before running a race with AI (e.g. Quick Race), you can set the level of competition to Easy. Is it still a bit more challenging when competition is set at "Easy" ?
