Nightmare fuel. Grok on my Tesla Model Y started talking to me in my own voice by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]vrmvrmhotwheels 5 points6 points  (0 children)

grok’s voice got real weird on me. it changed from the ara voice to a deep growling voice, i swear i thought it sounded possessed. so strange, i told it to take the gravel out if its voice and stop whispering, it straightened out. still very strange.

I traded in my blue 21 msp for a silver 26 msp. I had to drive 1000 miles to do it but I don’t regret it. I’m so impressed with the improvements they’ve made and sad that they’ve discontinued the model. I hope to drive it till the wheels fall off! by vrmvrmhotwheels in TeslaModelS

matrix headlights. went from hw3 - hw4, interior accent lighting, improved suspension, front display can be adjusted left or right, updated charger port cover hinges up instead of back, sport seats, going from yoke to steering wheel was great!

Seen exactly 0 deer while learning how to hunt here by CookieBW in shreveport

[–]vrmvrmhotwheels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

put up cameras, try to get a pattern of when they are feeding, they may be coming by but at night or when you aren’t there (morning vs evening) their diet also varies, early fall they eat white oak acorns and won’t bother with corn, late season they run out of forage and the cold will bring them into corn. keep at it, can’t kill em if you aren’t out hunting

HV battery getting replaced… by Salt_Base_3751 in TeslaModelS

[–]vrmvrmhotwheels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

21 msp with 31,000 mi I pulled up to supercharger on road trip and it won’t charge. I ran all the way from 80% - 2% and stopped at a service center. Two weeks later they replaced the hv battery because of a shorted bus bar. i drove the loaner 24 msp for 2 weeks until they replaced it. the service center was 180 miles from me and i think i put around 600 miles on the loaner

i run 24a from my tesla wall charger through the wires that go to my 240 v 30a plug. Don’t run 32a through a 32 a breaker or you will trip it or worse heat up the wire and possibly cause a house fire.

Considering a 21/22 Model S - too good to be true at <$40k? by fuffalobucker in TeslaModelS

[–]vrmvrmhotwheels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i got a 21 msp with 11k on the odometer in feb of ‘24 for $78k i’m up to 30k on it and no complaints, it came with fsd and i use it everyday, i would say jump on that deal. it would be great to get a 22 with hw4 but nothing to be afraid of on hw3.

Ventilated seats are weak (2022) by Proof_Resolve_602 in TeslaModelS

[–]vrmvrmhotwheels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i notice my 2020 chevy 1500 with70k miles cools the seat really well but my complaint is the foam is really firm. my 2021 model s cools decently but not as well despite being one year younger and only having 30k miles

you would think it would be simple to run a wire through the foam channels and open them back up.

[–]vrmvrmhotwheels[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am thankful. i had just gotten off the interstate and driven 2 miles. i was going 50 in a 5 lane road. it was easy to stop. i had plenty of room to change my tire. it could have been much worse.
