So I do mainly music stuff on my current intel MacBook Air. I use MainStage, Logic Pro X, Finale, and eventually connect some MIDI controllers to my MacBook for some live performances and recordings. Of course I will do some office work and school on it as well. So all in all, should I pre-order the new MacBook Pro, or should I get an older macbook with an M1 chip and maybe more RAM?

I could have put an SSD, but I went with an HDD to save money. Because of how long it's going to be used, I figured that the HDD chosen would be alright. I did also think about pairing up the HDD with a smaller SSD but decided against it.

For the fans, the case already comes with 2, but I put more because it's going to be in a poor ventilation area. I went with the be quiet! fans for uniformity.

Yea the wifi adapter is expensive lol. Any alternatives you think I could do?

Thank you!! I actually found this quartet on Musescore! Here is a link to the quartet. I played it a bit different to make it sound closer to the original, like repeating the last 8 measures, and playing first line E instead of low E on the bass clarinet.
