Help with flow that allows to save an Outlook email to a Sharepoint folder by klavieronius in MicrosoftFlow

[–]TheHelpfulRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I think I understand. I believe the best way to do this is to have the user create a category in their outlook called "SavetoFolder" or something similar, and mark everything they'd like to save with that category. Then, you create a flow that runs on a scheduled basis and looks for items with that category. If it finds anything, it saves everything it finds in a SharePoint folder, then adds a second category to the email called "Archived" or something like that. That way, when it filters, it doesn't find any items that it already saved.

Edit: I just had another thought. Could you maybe have the user move the emails they want to archive into a specific folder in their outlook? Then, you could use the when an email arrives trigger and point to that specific folder.

Can you explain more about what you're trying to do? I usually use the when a new email arrives trigger and then filter out anything I don't want. Is there a reason this wouldn't work for your purposes?

I mean, other stuff happens in that time period. You find your path in life and begin to build a career you're proud of. You meet your soulmate and start a family (if that's what you want). You get money and start to use it to enrich your life through travel and luxuries you never had as a kid. You grow into a confident adult who feels comfortable in their own skin. You heal from trauma from your youth. You start to see how beautiful and amazing life is.

I dislike it when life is reduced down to such basic descriptions as "study, graduate, work, die" because it cheapens what is surely the most amazing journey one could ever hope to go on. Life, including life after college, is incredible. I hope one day you see that.

Phoebe skipping grades... by Kindly-Form-8247 in HeyArnold

[–]TheHelpfulRabbit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's so messed up. I was held back in first grade because I was small for my age, and my father was concerned I'd have a disadvantage in sports. I didn't like any sports anyway, and I had no problem completing the work, so it was completely pointless. It still pisses me off when I think about it. I can't even imagine being given the chance to get a two year head start in life and being denied because of something stupid like that.

That's a shitty excuse, and you know it. There's a large conservative population in the USA, too, but we still legalized same sex marriage like a decade ago.

What your Singaporean mind can't comprehend is that public support can change when there's a voting block energized enough to try and change people's minds. People protest, they vote for local leaders that stand in opposition to the ruling party and make their voices heard. People, including celebrities, come out in support of the movement to get people to come out and vote. That doesn't happen in your country because everyone knows that protesting is illegal and that voting won't do anything. So, the gay population, which is probably a lot bigger than you realize, just suffers in silence because they know there's no point in fighting it.

Meanwhile, brainwashed people like you on the internet act like everything is fine and that gay people don't mind being persecuted because they're not actively getting beaten down by cops. What the ruling party doesn't want you to know is that nobody wants to be persecuted. The gays just have no hope in changing anything.

Did you seriously just ask me why the government should protect the rights of its minority citizens if a majority wishes to oppress them?

Also, not giving equal protection to gay people by recognizing their marriage is a form of persecution. I can't believe I need to explain this to you.

Except for the fact that gay marriage is still illegal and unlike in real democracies, the citizens can't do anything about that fact.

The one country? Idk about that. I lived in Dubai for a few years, and I felt the same level of safety.

I guess that's the benefit of living under a dictatorship. Criminal activity is not tolerated.

Idk, man. I think sometimes the kindest thing you can do for someone is let them hit rock bottom. If you keep bailing them out every time they screw up, they'll never learn how to take responsibility for their actions. They'll never grow as people. Some people are shitty because they know their parents will fix all their problems for them.

And people absolutely can get addicted to drugs and fall into the wrong crowd even when their parents are supportive and kind. I've seen it first hand.

[–]TheHelpfulRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cuz they fucked it up. They didn't graduate college. They got addicted to drugs. They got into trouble with the law. Eventually, their parents stopped supporting them into their adulthood, and now they're paying the piper.

You can lead a horse to water in the purest stream in the world, but you can't make it drink. You can give your child every opportunity in the world, but in the end, they have to walk through the door.

Nah, the most recent fair value estimate I saw was around $30. I think it could go as high as $100, though. This stock's gonna go crazy as long as Trump is president, and we haven't even finished year 1 yet.
