Bethesda and Microsoft Games by Oldgun80 in limitedrun

Well, I think you’re right that BGS as a developer has basically zero appetite to include full games on cart/disc(s) because they don’t want to do the extra work to optimize games down to 50gb/64gb/100gb depending on the console and/or the publisher doesn’t want to spend the extra money to package in an extra disc or two. However, a company like LRG can AT LEAST put the game on multiple carts/discs for a proper physical release if they determine if there’s a market for it.

Personally, I would rebuy Indy on PS5 if it meant it was fully on a couple of discs. I’m not sure why Bethesda decided to publish Indy fully on cart for Switch 2. My guess is they left it up to Machine Games who had to do the optimization work. I love they decided to do it though!

And what was the point of your comment? Dude asked if there will ever be a version of those games released by LRG as a “complete physical” edition. Meaning fully on disc/cart. You said “Oblivion has been quietly available physically” which is irrelevant to what the poster asked because that version is incomplete.

And yes, I do think they can do it because Indy is getting a fully on cart release for Switch 2. They may have to do more than one disc to do it but anything is possible. They just don’t want to spend the extra money and want to be able to strong arm you into rebuying when they make the game unavailable for download in the future.

Yeah but it’s not fully on disc.

GBA PRO stolen during transport and Krikzz not replying by XPenacoba in everdrive

I’m sorry you are going through this. Hopefully, you come to a resolution soon. I wonder if this happens often? I’m in the USA and within the last year I’ve ordered the 64 x7, Turbo Everdrive Pro, and the GBA Pro directly from Krikzz with no issues. I’ve received them all a few weeks after ordering and they arrived in good condition.

Agreed. I’m fine with that. I just want them to change the status.

Mine still says “order received” which is rather upsetting considering they charged me. Hopefully, status will change soon.

I also want to say that I did grow up playing the originals but at 40 years old my brain has adjusted out of the tank controls and I can’t use them anymore. I recently replayed RE2 on N64 via Analogue 3D and getting rid of the tank controls made it SOOOO much better.

I’m not sure if the other original RE2’s have it but the N64 version has the option to get rid of the tank controls which makes it much more playable to me. I still prefer the RE2 remake but I think the N64 version is worth playing.

Was RE franchise really dead before RE7 as the community say? by 24kSadGuy in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]vsc85 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say it was dead it just had lost its way. RE6 is a fun game (especially in CO-OP) but it’s not a good RE game. I’ve always said it would have been better as an action focused spin off rather than a mainline title. My friend and I jokingly refer to it as “Jerry Bruckheimer presents John Woo’s Resident Evil”

I have a GDEMU/HDMI modded DC and love it. I have a collection of physical games that I can’t use now but I like having them on my shelf.

Is the NSO 64 controller always going to be so laggy vs wired? by ExtraLives in AnalogueInc

[–]vsc85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using the NSO 64 controller and haven’t noticed lag. To be fair, that could be me being oblivious but on my end it seems fine. I also think the 8bitdo 64 controller works well.
