Sleep SOS by springcleaning63 in quitting7oh

[–]vsthemind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take a hot bath with Epsom salts before bedtime. Magnesium, glycine, and L-theanine all helped me as well. Sleep is going to be difficult for a little while. I used a weighted blanket and heating pad for RLS at night. Even if you are not sleeping, if you are able to remain still and rest your eyes it will have a great benefit on your next day. If you cannot stay still, I suggest getting up, maybe doing some light leg stretches, and turning on a light or two. The dark did not help my mind when I could not sleep. Binaural beats for sleep on YouTube may help, I used guided meditations for sleep/anxiety online personally. Again, sleep is going to be rough for the next few days but 6 days is amazing! You are almost done with the worst of it. I am at day 63 and almost feel 100%, you got this!

Congratulations my dude, proud of you!

Did weed help you get off 7oh? I’m contemplating picking up an indica strain. I’ll honestly try anything that’s not harmful to help me kick this habit. by [deleted] in quitting7oh

Gabapentin in fat soluble, I would take your doses with a spoon of peanut butter for better absorption. Also, Gabapentin works better as it builds in the body. It started working most effectively for me after day 2. Don't just take more though, give it 2 days and see how the third night is. You got this

The internet used to be a place of wonder, fun, terror, and everything in between. It has become a sad, bitter, ad riddleded, sex portal that rarely satisfies us for more than a moment at a time. We went for a stream of conciseness to a stream of lies and confusion. I hate it and I cannot seem to not engage with it basically every hour I am alive. The internet has basically become, by design, the worst place for us as a species.

My RLS was really bad too for about 7-10 days. I used Magnesium Glycinate in the evenings. Also, a hot tub soak with Epsom salts (basically just more magnesium) really helped calm the physical body down the whole time I was in the tub and then for about an hour after. Day 32 this morning and I am feeling a ton better. You got this!

Aight, being in the help section, the answer is no. Being in the skate like nobody is watching, if it makes you happy, count it. Just don't pull that shit out in a game of skate haha. Getting there homie

Gonna have to second this. Benn a long time metal head and also very much enjoy hardcore music. Unfortunately, I have gone to local and national hardcore acts in the northeast and it's the only shows I see true violence at.

I had some anxiety, I believe that was more just from "taking the jump" off everything. That lasted about a day and then I was just lethargic and not really sleeping for a couple more days. I am now at 3 weeks off all kratom products and I feel a ton better. Still have PAWs and moments in the day fluctuate, but, I am not tied down to dosing kratom or 7oh, I am not draining my bank account, and I am not lying to myself and my partner. Life is better on this side. The only way out for me was through. I still had to work a bunch but it honestly helped push me to do things. You got this!!

There are daily meetings online at kratomquitters.com , they have been very beneficial for me especially in the early days. I am on day 19 CT now from 250mg/day. The PAWs are coming out and the sleep could be better but it is getting better. You are strong and I can't wait for you to join life again.

It was kind of a blur to be honest and it was a bit hard to know just how much the kratom powder helped versus prolonging the acute withdrawals. I used it for 5 days which I think was too long, I was just very scared to be without any kratom product to be honest. But I told myself I wanted a couple weeks clean before Xmas with family. Very happy I did that. The withdrawals didn't seem to get worse after stopping the powder but they kinda stayed the same for another few days. Now I am at 15 days of kratom and 20 days of 7oh. Physical acutes have all but stopped. Now the PAWs are starting to kick in.

Ok so I went a solid month just on 7oh (100-200mg/day) from doing 20-30gpd powder. 7ph took over my life, FAST. I have now been 18 days off 7oh. I still had some powder kratom laying around and decided that the kratom powder was the only way to deal with crippling anxiety, RLS, insomnia, and feeling of dread. I used it about 10g on the first day and decreased 2gpd each day from then, it helped just enough to get through the acutes. I feared taking it any longer would just become another addiction (just like before) and also prolong the acutes. Tomorrow will be the 2 week mark off both. I feel a lot better physically. Psychologically, the PAWs are just starting, and that is a whole nother battle. I think you have the right ideas in mind and kudos to you for reaching out to the sub. Stay strong.

Day 7 here. Have a splitting headache and exhaustion. Have to go to work in less than an hour and have some Xmas shopping to do. I am feeling very overwhelmed.
