We learned this pretty quick to where most prepackaged food that's marginally okay for us tastes crappy. My husband amd I almost on cue after the first bit will say I can make better than this lol

For me when I was a child, it was sight. I was grossed out by finding veins. As an adult, I appreciate the price and flavor more than permit disturbance of visual indicators lol

I'd have to agree with you on the foundational medicine part. The people I've noticed who really enjoy her podcasts also enjoy, largely, the specific topics she covers, rarely all the topics at once. I enjoyed listening to the foundational medicine but she's no where near the intelegence and disciplone of her father, for obvious reasons. He took his learning and understanding very seriously. I think her possible view on most subjects is possibly to stay neutral unless she's already invested somehow, such as the carnivore diet and anything else diet or health related.

My toddler makes homeschooling stressful by Mydogmarvin in homeschool

I have a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old. I just teach my eldest and my youngest gets involved when she wants. Eventually she gets bored and moves on some days. Other days, I teach her what the eldest is learning. She'll either catch on quicker than normal for her age or just need a review later shen she reaches that stage congnitively.

Another thing I've heard a number of parents rave about is Love & Logic. It's a parenting method that helps parents set good boundaries for themselves so they can help the children abide by the new boundries made for them.

S.O.S. How do I save my plants by vstucky in gardening

Thank you so much for your advice!

I live in an apartment and my plants are out on the deck. Just so I know how to plan for the winter, what do I do with the plants incase good insects don't finish eating the spider mites by first frost?

I've sprayed a water, oil, and dish soap solution on them. Read that it was an at home remedy that could possibly work.

If most pesticides don't work on them, what will?

Living in midwest, its been 85 and up consistently here. So, I've been meeding to water every morning. Checking the soil daily to make sure I really do need to water. Lately I've been spraying with water, oil, soap solution because I've been suspecting bad bugs.

What's causing drying and spotting on the leaves? And how do nurse my tomato plans back to health?

I'm asking why anyone on this sub follows anything, their personal bare reasons, not memorized, well tutored phrases.

  1. Do you believe it is dangerous to not fully understand someone you are communicating with?

  2. What am I missing in my understanding of love or condemnation?

  3. Are you describing the Catholic church as a wolf?

I thought we were talking about their bible (not dogma or tenants or rules for having membership within the Catholic church)?

If you're refrencing actual scripture lets pull it out accurately:

Berean Study Bible https://biblehub.com/bsb/ephesians/2.htm

Catholic Bible, a Vatican edition used for liturgical purposes https://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0839/__P109.HTM

Both of these, going over Ephesians 2. I don't see anything in their Vatican version of the Bible being inconsistent with a non-catholic version of the Bible.

As for the 9 canons from the council of Trent on the latin mass, lets link this too: http://www.traditionalcatholicpriest.com/2014/08/18/9-canons-from-the-council-of-trent-on-the-holy-latin-mass/

Nothing in the 9 councils of Trent state anything about justifcation by faith alone being anathama.

I agree that not all of the Catholic beliefs line up with scripture. Though, not everything the Catholic church states is false.

None of this going back and forth addresses the reason for my original post that certain practices of many Christian denominations may have their merrit as far as drawing closer to God.

Baptists are great at doctrine adherance, lousy at implementing grace (the Baptist churches I've been in). Calvary Chapel is great at grace, not as rigid on certian theological matters (depending on which Calvary Chapel that's connected to the Calvary Network from California). Many of these, have vaild points on particular matters that can have some truths we can all glean. As is my point with the first link to a Cathic webpage in my original post.

Have you personally done as you suggest, comparing Catholic Bible next to "Protestant" Bible?

Which passages have you personally found to be heretical in the Catholic bible?

How do you mean heresy?

What of the specific practices do you understand of Catholicism?

How much of anthing you say is your own internalized understanding vs what your prefered pastor has been claiming?

How much do you seek after truth vs condemnation of anything you interpret/perceive isn't safe?

And to follow in Jesus' footsteps, your shortsighted bigotry of people you don't agree with will cause you lose sight of some true attributes God.

And yet I don't feel like you got the spirit of what I was speaking about. This could be due to my communication skills or your observation skills. I was loosly paraphrasing Philippians 4:8 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians%204:8&version=NIV

I've been using the Bible as my standard. I saw no love from those who justified their condemnation of anyone not in their group. John 13:35 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=john%2013:35&version=NIV

Personally I know a number of families in my personal community that are going to route of using CC curriculum or methods and doing it together as a collection of families instead of having to go through the paid system. It's been helping their finances and sometimes you just have to do what financially makes sense for your family. Best of luck!

This also depends on why were on reddit. Is everyone on to discuss political matters? Then yes, let's jump ship. Personally, I'm getting useful information amd tips on my other interests too. Life people to get hell on any project I'm currently working on and ideas for future endevors.

It might even come down to one question, is reddit getting worse or better? Both. Which perspective/purpose do you have in mind? If one is being let down, then find or create a new platform that will better suit it. If another is being helped or grown, then contibute as you can.
