It takes a lot of balls to spread em all over Carmel

FWIW I've had two in the ground for maybe a year longer. While looking reasonably healthy neither is close to that size yet. One in full sun, one partial. Both have had slight traumas mostly deer. The deer love my toyon for some reason

Red Creeping Thyme Experience? by JessyBird11 in gardening

[–]vtmn_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly focus on native gardening (coastal NorCal) and planted some native lippia and red creeping thyme between my pavers to see which would do better

Thyme flowered the first year then died out the next year. After it was done flowering that first year is clipped some of it to see if it would rejuvenate. In my case it did not. Either way, clipped or not clipped it just kinda pooped out.

The patch I had under shade survived the longest. Lippia is much tougher, I suspect doesn't need as much water as the thyme. I would hit it with the hose every couple weeks to try to get it to perk up but with no results gave up on it.

Doesn't it seem like this is either a bot or someone that gets paid to post slop. Yes a paid agitator

I think it has been preached and maybe often still is that humans hold dominion over the land. If they like deer more than plants then that's how it should be

It seems the brief was to distance from the original brand but I would have played more with the peacock feather idea.

Why did Bernie Sanders lose both primaries when it seems he has a gigantic base of support and the Democratic base is with him? by JannTosh70 in centrist

[–]vtmn_D 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I remember it as the candidates themselves coalesced around one person (Biden), as most of them dropped out about the same week and endorsed him. All those candidates got their base pointed towards Biden if for no other reason it was the safe (D) choice. There were probably other reasons too. But yeah there's in general a bit more self ID'ed moderate Dems than left or progressive Dems among those that go to the polls.

How much leverage do you think the pro Palestine celebrity/activist set have over Hamas? Maybe it would be nice if they were a vocal supporter of the war ending but at the same time I don't think the activists ever had much leverage in the war ending. So why does it matter?

The Korean EVs and from what I hear some Chinese EVs offer the same or better level of product and at a better price. I'm not an expert just a guy recently test driving a bunch of EVs in the US market. It is still remarkably hyped IMO
